“We live on the edge of Columbia on Cloverton Drive, the 1400 block in a restored brick rancher. RiverView is my ABSOLUTE 'go to' company for anything HVAC and plumbing and I've had work done by them a number of times.... ? Now, get this! On July 4th weekend our 20 year old Lennox central air stopped working, the outside unit, in that 101 degree heat. It was Friday night at 9pm, maybe the absolute worst time for this to happen and get someone in to fix this on a hot holiday weekend. I didn't think twice. I called Dillon and he picked up his cell phone! He said they'd be out first thing in the morning. They sent Tyler out (from the Gettysburg area!) and between 9 and 10 am he had the outside unit tested, torn apart, cleaned, serviced and repaired in 45 minutes with the capacitor and relays he had in his repair van. I had cold air again! I'm betting if I had called one of the big name HVAC repair businesses I'd still be without a cool house and looking at spending thousands on a new system plus weeks to get it installed. Tyler thought this system should be good for a few more years so I can replace it at a better time. It's the next day now and I'm still blown away by this experience. This is 'old school' service work like you'd get back in the 1960's when people were still responsible. Tyler is very hands on and knows what he is doing, plus for 28 years old, he's very mature and responsible. Hell, I'm 74 and I could hang out with this guy over beers. I hope they keep Tyler on the payroll forever, customer service is everything. All their workers I've had here for plumbing, and another issue with the central air fan in the attic unit, have also been great. We are so lucky to have found RiverView Mechanical a few years ago, and it was through a simple word of mouth recommendation....so 'there's your card'. ??. Keep their phone number in your cell phone contact list. Trust me, you'll thank me later.”
