This weekend I had the need for emergency service as the furnace failed overnight and the inside temp was 59 degrees. Mark called me from the emergency service line within 20 minutes of my call. Additionally, he walked me through a few steps over the phone that enabled me to successfully reset the system avoiding the delay and cost of an emergency service call. Inside temp now going back up! “We had both boiler heating/hot water and ac units replaced, along with a new oil tank installed. Right from the start the estimate was straight forward with replacement recommended from Ivan, what a great guy, so knowledgeable.All of our units have lived well past their life expectancy, well past!! We were walked through what size, makes and models would be best for our house square footage. All questions were answered and installation process was described with each detail of what to expect during install. We were given a 3 day install timeframe, two days heating and one day ac. Day one Josh and his team showed up at the scheduled time and went straight to work, no standing around, not on phones, etc. here to do the job we were paying for. The two day heating install was completed on time. They also set up a temporary hot water heater for us to use as they were doing the install. Day three ac system install, again on time and straight to work. This day was 94 degrees outside and working in an attic! Had to have been 110 up there. No complaining, no unpleasant language, just getting the job done in some pretty bad heat. A/c completed on day 3 on time. All old units/ oil tank were removed, work areas were cleaned up before leaving, all controls of units installed explained. From the start to finish the crew was very professional. For us they were a great choice for everything we wanted done. Being responsible, respectful and professional at all times during the install. We would and will recommend Reitz Oil to anyone. If you’re not looking for a new install but looking to change oil companies give them a call. We have been with them for 10 years, they have always treated us right. “Very friendly people who run this company. I used them years ago for my heating oil and I'll never forget one time I needed my furnace restarted because I had ran out of oil. The people who came that night were husband and wife and the owners of the company. It was later in the evening and he went in my basement and got it restarted for me at no extra cost while I chatted with the woman. They were just so kind to me. Even after that when I would get oil delivered they would always ask if I needed my furnace started again. They're a great company. I would recommend them to anyone in Lancaster county. I recently moved back into the area and started using them again. They have come right away when I ran out of oil about a month ago. I was really impressed with how fast they came through for me.
