We were able to get a timely appointment for our cat that we ended up not needing, after our old clinic said they were fully booked for the week, which has happened twice.
It also nice to know they are privately owned and not corporate owned like most clinics these days.“

“My fur baby Bonecrusher had an incident during the night where she was limping and hiding, in visible pain and I could tell she was in serious pain, as soon as as her regular vet office opened I called to let them know I was bringing her in for her first ever emergency visit, that vet said they were booked for the next seven days and I’d have to wait.

That’s when I decided to find a new veterinary office and luckily for Bonecrusher I found College Street Animal Hospital.

They took her in within an hour of me calling them, the staff are incredibly kind, friendly and informative, the doctor was perfect. She was very gentle with my little furry friend and quickly gained her trust.

Long story short here is that Cusher is now fine, turned out to be a sprain and she’s back to her old self thanks to her new vet office at College Street Animal Hospital.“

“Reception staff was friendly and polite when I took my sick cat on a Sunday evening. They're open 24/7. Dr. Omotayo Conteh was very relatable and handled our cat with care. He made us feel reassured and less anxious. I highly recommend him. They're are for other vets working there but I cannot comment on them as I didn't deal with them. My experience was a very good one. The only negative was the plastic container the antibiotic was aliquotted into. Would have rather a glass bottle as the plastic one tended to leak when withdrawing the prescribed amount, resulting from loss of some of the medicine.“

“This veterinary team is absolutely outstanding. They have been there for every little thing my guinea pigs have experienced, and the care they provide to direly unwell exotic pets is above and beyond. I recently lost one of my guinea pigs, Rhoda, very unexpectedly due to undetected heart disease, and although she passed in-hospital, I know the entire team did the absolute best they could for her.

I highly recommend the whole team, and particularly Dr. Nur and Dr. Mavromatis, for their expertise, amazing husbandry, and empathetic bedside manner. Marika at the front desk is absolutely stellar as well.

“Dr. Hu has been Bailey’s veterinarian since the day he came into our lives, and I honestly wouldn’t trust anyone else with his care. Even when she moved to a different clinic, I followed her because of the incredible compassion, knowledge, and dedication she has always shown. I literally went from driving two minutes to his clinic to 45 just to ensure she remained his doctor!

She is one of the kindest, sweetest, and most caring veterinarians I have ever met. She always takes the time to answer all of my questions, never makes me feel rushed, and genuinely cares about both her patients and their families. I have worked at a veterinary office before and I have never seen this kind of service given. One of the many things I appreciate is her honesty. As a pet owner, there are so many things I don’t know, and it can be overwhelming. Dr. Hu has always been transparent about Bailey’s treatment options and has never recommended unnecessary tests or procedures. In fact, she has often helped me save money by suggesting the most appropriate and cost-effective care rather than the most expensive option. That level of integrity means the world to me, especially because she knows how much Bailey means to our family. In my experience, most vets take advantage of that.

Bailey recently had a full dental extraction with her, and I couldn’t be happier with the care he received. She did an amazing job, kept me informed throughout the process, and made what was a very stressful day so much easier. Knowing Bailey was in her hands gave me complete peace of mind. Bailey is 15 years old so the process is more complicated and more risky and because of Doctor Hu, I was able to put my dogs life in her hands and feel at peace.

I am so grateful for everything she has done for Bailey over the years. If you’re looking for a veterinarian who is compassionate, knowledgeable, and truly goes above and beyond, I cannot recommend Dr. Hu enough.
