“I had to replace the battery of my iPhone, and had problems with the charging port. I was quoted a fair price. Unfortunately after two attempts of being promised a replacement battery, I had to go somewhere else. As for the charging port, the issue was resolved and as a courtesy, a screen protector was put on my screen. As I had confidence in the store owner, I brought my laptop in for repair with part handy for replacement. It was installed immediately and again at a fair price. I will return for any future repairs.“

“You won't find a more qualified or friendlier tech shop in the Beaches area. I only deal with Asgar, the owner. I've read some surprisingly negative reviews? The only reason for these, that can I think of, is that they were left by customers who dealt with the younger, less experienced staff members. I'd highly recommend speaking to Asgar 1st, before leaving a less than glowing review! My husband and I are long time patrons of this small, personal service shop. We're both happy with the service we've received over the years. He's repaired our computers many times at a reasonable fee and in a timely fashion. Never any unpleasant surprises as far repair costs go. Asgar has even helped me verify the legitimacy of an iPhone I purchased online - not from him, at no charge. He's also offered to help me set it up if I run into trouble, since I'm no tech genius. If this is not generosity of spirit and great service, I don't know what is. Thank you Asteck!“

“Excellent Value in a Potentially Expensive Situation

My mother's beloved iPad Pro had a crack in the glass. And this iPad Pro 12.9 from 2015 is nearly 10 years old. iRepex was the only shop to offer me a sensible, affordable solution with a refurbished replacement screen, and they did the job in a single business day.

Replacement parts in perfect condition for this model from a past decade are difficult to find at a reasonable price. Other shops offered perfect replacement screens but charged $400 and up and said they'd need 2 - 3 weeks to do the job. iRepex received the iPad on Friday at 10:30 AM and were done by Monday at 11 AM, and they only charged me $260.

The replacement screen did have some faint scratches (easily obscured with a tempered glass protector). I imagine the part was pulled from an inoperable iPad. But every shop that promised a perfect replacement screen (likely through more selective part selection or via high priced aftermarket parts) cost so much more and would have taken so much longer. I'm not sure I want to contemplate my mother going without her iPad for three weeks.

There were shops that offered prices lower than iRepex. But these other shops, judging from reviews, were all infamous for fragile, easily breakable aftermarket parts with poor touch sensitivity and distorted colours.

iRepex offered the sweet spot of quality and price for me: an imperfect but adequate replacement screen with flaws that my mother isn't going to notice as she plays Mahjong Titans and watches YouTube with perfect colours and touch sensitivity.

I am delighted with iRepex and the strategy they used in what was, for me, a very difficult situation. And if I ever break my own tablet or phone screen, I'd definitely go back to them for the excellent value and speedy service.“
