Even though my interaction with the front desk was short (because the moment I walked in everything was already handled—just had to sign one quick form), I have to say: the women behind the desk were everything. Warm smiles, friendly vibes, and total competence. They were like the welcoming committee for this medical dream team—setting the tone with “you’re in good hands” energy before I even had the chance to sit down. Literally. I was just about to park myself in the waiting room when Darwin swooped in to bring me to the back. Now let’s talk about Darwin—this man is a GEM. Professional, knowledgeable, kind, and genuinely listened as I explained my symptoms. He asked all the right questions, got what I like to call my “eye vitals,” and when I mentioned the pressure and near-complete vision loss in one eye, he didn’t skip a beat—he checked my eye pressure right away and went straight to consult with Dr. Li. He also made me laugh, which was much needed. Like, give this man a raise and a trophy. Enter Dr. Li—poised, brilliant, and an absolute boss in the best possible way. She took her time, examined my eyes in every way imaginable, asked thorough questions, and didn’t rush a single moment. When it came time to make the call on whether to send me to a specialist or perform an emergency procedure right there—she trusted her instincts, chose to act, and walked me through every single step so I knew exactly what to expect. Her communication was top-tier and her hands? Steady and confident. The whole procedure? Seamless. I left that office feeling like I had just been taken care of by the Beyoncé and Jay-Z of ophthalmology. Seriously. I trusted them implicitly and still do. “We called to make an appointment and was given one for 1 pm the upcoming Saturday at 1 pm. We were called by the office that a 930 spot had opened up—?? I tool it!
Arrived at 9:20 and unfortunately we DID NOT fill out the form that WAS sent- our fault.. The staff Monique was very helpful in accommodating us . The insurance was verified
We filled the forms , but within 10 minutes we were seen!!!
I enquired if i can be seen as well and monique said she will check also
This practice is a great option for a professional / clean / efficient experience.
The staff is friendly, helpful, and courteous . This is a practice that i would recommend.
Dr. Napolitano took her time with my son — sensitive- AND my wife had a hair stuck in her eye- embedded deep — she REMOVED it gently and quickly - we paid a copay— well worth it!!!

And although Dr. Patrizio is my favorite, all the dr.’s are great!!
They are experts in fitting you with the contact lenses and care of your total eye health. It seems like They’re always available because of the prompt response time from office staff or, need be a call by one of the doctors. They have a wide display of eye glasses in which they fit you with your prescription with a fast turn around time.
They have the best office staff, efficient, super friendly & helpful not to mention they remember who you are in between visits :)“

“Let me just say, if you're not going to America's Best Contacts and Eyeglasses in Freeport, NY, what are you even doing with your life? This place is IT, and the MVP of the whole operation is Kenley. I've been here a couple of times, and every single time, Kenley has been a total rockstar. But my most recent visit? ICONIC. So here I am, thinking I need a whole new pair of glasses (cue the drama). Turns out, I just needed my current glasses (from over a year ago, no less) adjusted because, surprise, I never came back to get them fitted properly. Classic me. Kenley, with his top-tier humor and customer service finesse, had me cracking up while making my glasses fit like a glove. Seriously, who knew getting glasses adjusted could feel like a VIP experience? And just when I thought it couldn't get better, Kenley casually guided me over to the sale rack, and honey, let me tell you--I walked out with not one, not two, but THREE pairs of Ray-Bans. Wicked cool, and now I have enough shades to stunt on everyone I know. My old glasses fit like a dream, I have three new pairs of Ray-Bans to flex, and I left happier than a kid with a candy stash.
