I have been a client at this hair salon since its inception in 1992. Contrary to that bizarre 3-star review, I can assure anyone reading this that I have always been thrilled with my experience here. The stylists and receptionist are professional, accomplished, very friendly and very accommodating. They keep appointments faithfully, and I’ve never waited more than a couple of minutes (unless I arrived ridiculously early). I’ve had everything done you can think of: cuts, color, processing, stripping color, gloss, highlights…I’ve never left here without being totally satisfied. This is a 5-star salon, you can be sure of that!

We are just visiting and were very happy with our experience by Mrs Patty. My husband who is from Trinidad and Tobago was so pleased with his new look that he didn't missed his regular Barber. She took her time. She applied some moisturizer so skin was still feeling like a baby the next day. She is very friendly and met one of her customers who comes all the way from Brooklyn. As he said it is a one stop shop. You can have a spa day if you wish. Definitely recommended ?
Love my barber Barry, very cool & skillful. I use to get my haircut from him when I was natural, I went back to relaxing my hair and paying a fortune to the hairdressers. So now I do my relaxer & color and I go to Barry to get the cut, saving $$$. There's also 2 ladies who braids hair in just few hours.

My experience as a woman at Hopkins Barber was overwhelmingly delightful. Richard R. is one of the barbers at Hopkins that cut my hair. I thought the task I gave him, a modified version of a "fade" style that I was going for would be challenging for him, but he accomplished the look I wanted without question. He is confidently skilled with his clippers and hair cutting. I found my barber for life and hope he continues his profession at Hopkins Barber. If not, I will stalk him to cut my hair wherever he is, LOL.
I had a great experience here. I was visiting NYC for work, and wanted a haircut later in the evening after dinner. I saw Sculptures was open late, and took the train from Manhattan (it was an easy commute, and they are just a block or so away from the train station). Jesus gave me a cut. He took his time and was obviously a real professional. I'm very happy with the cut --it looks great. They have reasonable prices given the time and care they took. The salon itself is beautiful always clean, pink, and welcoming. It truly feels like a safe and comfortable space to relax. I also love that I can get my nails and my hair done all in the same place, which makes the experience so convenient.

When we asked if they could perform a pedicure for my dad, they were extremely accommodating and attentive to the specific requests I shared to make sure he felt comfortable throughout the service. Accommodating men, women and children with a large choice of stylists both male and female. Relaxing atmosphere, good music that isn’t loud or obtrusive, friendly staff and talented stylists. Owner Larry has cut my hair for over ten years and I’ve never had a complaint but see for yourself and make an appointment. Metered and unmetered parking is available in the area with a bagel shop, a falafel restaurant and other shopping opportunities nearby. Choosing a new stylist can be tricky but if you speak with Larry he will direct you to the best stylist for your needs. Highly recommend.

Excellent spa!!! I went on Wednesday afternoon 3:30pm without an appointment for a head therapy scalp treatment. Total cost was $58, I paid after my session in cash plus gave a little extra tip to my person, Angela. It was 60 minutes of magic. 50 minutes of wonderful scalp massage, brushing, shampooing, conditioning, as well as wonderful facial, face mask, eye mask, and lovely washing & massaging my hands, arms, shoulders & neck. Angela was wonderful: sturdy, strong, vigorous and thorough technician. She scraped/brushed my scalp, then massaged, and shampooed my hair about 3 - 4 times with different smelling products, smelled lemon, mint and lavender. She finished with the last 10 minutes drying my hair with few pumps of lovely aromatic hair oil & served me a cup of refreshing water. My hair never felt so soft, clean & shiny! I FELT AMAZING!!! This was a wonderful session, I shall return in a regular basis & tell all of my friends. The Spa told me they are busiest weekends, good to come during the week instead of.

I’ve been going once a month for the head spa scalp treatment and love it!!! I recommend it to all of my friends and coworkers. Last Friday I brought my friend for her birthday: Iyi gave my friend a body work massage and Yumi gave me a head spa scalp treatment. It was my friend’s first time and she really enjoyed her massage!!! Thank you Yumi for your excellent session. Thank you so for treating us so well!!! We felt amazing afterwards. We will return soon!

I’ve missed a few months of going to New Field Spa for my scalp head spa, and frankly I really missed it. Today I went with my friend for the Zen Head Spa: Lisa and Andrea attended to us and were EXCELLENT!!! The scalp treatment, scalp, neck, arms & back massage, the facial and eye & face mask, steaming, everything was done and I felt calming, relaxed, with the tension just oozing away. Thank you!!! 5 stars treatment, I recommend it to all of my friends.
Been going to Hana for many years and followed her after moving to different locations because her eyelashes are done professionally, her space is clean, and she is timely, completely aware of when her appointments are and doesn’t make you wait. The eyelashes she uses are comfortable and light, so you barely remember you have them until you look in the mirror. Highly recommend!

The cleaning ladies did a good job the 1st one hour but rushed through it for the remaining minutes which caused them leaving one room uncleaned. It would be better if they didn't rush. Maybe 2hrs would have done it.

My husband found Nunez Construction online, and he came to our apartment. We were supposed to paint our bedroom, but he advised us to fix the bathroom instead. Alvin is fantastic. Our mouse issue had gradually gotten out of control and was popping up in different parts of the house. I was honestly starting to worry that we might need to do something drastic like a bomb – which I know isn’t recommended and felt overwhelming. Thankfully, that wasn’t necessary.

Since moving to Queens, I have been searching for a dentist who knows how to properly take care of their patients. I am extremely pleased with how they treated me the moment I booked my appointment. The receptionist was professional and helped me make my appointment. The hygienist, Eric greeted me and my children as soon as we walked through the door and made sure we were comfortable throughout my appointment and after. Eric is very thorough and knowledgeable. The dentist Dr. Mark was also caring, helpful and knowledgeable. The team at Forest Hills Dental displayed compassion, kindness, knowledge, and wisdom. It has taken me years to actually find a dentist who knows their “stuff”, treats their patients teeth properly, and are not trying to charge patients additional nonsense out of pocket fees. I will be going back and recommending them to everyone nearby.
Side note: They also offered me a room to breastfeed my 3 month old when he started crying. As a mother with multiple children, it is hard trying to make appointments for myself during the day, but the hygienist, Eric and Dr. Mark helped me! Dr Yau is gentle, through and exudes competence and care. I subscribe to their discount program and am delighted. The cost of care is outweighed by the pleasure and love I get every day and broken down by 12 months is very reasonable.

Friendly staff. They worked really well with my reactive dog and made him feel comfortable during the visit. They explained what treatments needed to be done and provided a breakdown in price. The vet we saw that particular Saturday was very kind, as was the nurse. Naturally, the one thing that didn’t sit well with me was the price of everything that needed to be done, but if you don’t have pet insurance, it is what it is. Nonetheless, I plan on going here moving forward.

I’ve had two great experiences at IAC Urgent Vets Queens this week when getting my cat treated for an eye infection. I initially brought her in as a walk-in and then came back a few days later for a treatment adjustment/re-check. Both times, the admin, doctors, and vet staff were very friendly and helpful and explained in detail the potential courses of action, prognosis, and costs. My kitten is formerly feral and can be quite skittish, but they were great with her. Her eye is improving very well and I am extremely pleased with the care she received. Thank you, IAC Urgent Vets! I am so happy how Marie’s grooming took care of Charlie. They did such a good job on my boy. The staff is so nice and made myself and my dog very comfortable. Had a Vinyasa session with Ian today. I've only tried yoga twice about 10 years ago so was feeling a little nervous about it but it wasn't so bad even as a beginner! The class was great and time passed by quickly. I wasn't sure about some of the poses but Ian explained as he went without it interrupting the flow of the class.
I had never done Pilates before working with Sheena, and with a desk job, my body really needed it. Six months in, I’m stronger, more flexible, and feel so much better overall. Pilates after a long day of sitting has become my reset. It helps me de-stress and actually feel good in my body again. Sheena pushes me in the best way, and I’m doing exercises now that I never thought I could. Can’t wait to see where I’m at in another six months!

Had the best experience here. Walked in without an appointment and really enjoyed my moisturizing facial. It was so relaxing and lasted over an hr. I left there so refreshed. Price was great at $79 but even better at $49.99 with the check in coupon. I definitely recommend and will be going back during my next visit to the city.

The environment was very clean and comfortable, and each session left me feeling deeply relaxed. Jenifer’s techniques are professional, and she is very friendly. I’ve been coming to Corner Spa for two years now, and every single time Sarah blows me away. She’s not just good at what she does — she’s on a whole other level. Sarah is incredibly professional, pays close attention to every detail, and makes you feel like you’re her only client in the world. The way she works out the tension, lines up your back, and knows exactly where to focus… it’s like she has a sixth sense for it.

They only do scheduled appointments but it's very worth it! They managed to put me in their schedule as early and available as possible. The masseuse made sure that I was comfortable the whole time. Definitely coming back!

Michele recommended dermaplane. I have sensitive skin and do not like the sensation of the masks usually used. It was a good idea and tried it. Michele was friendly and knowledgeable.I felt comfortable and plan to return.

This place is very good and has helped me a lot. The facilities are very nice and all the equipment is good as well. The guy working there Yash is a very nice gentleman, he gives me a very nice therapy massage and is helping me with my shoulder and hip, I give him 5 stars and the place 5 stars too. Very recommended place to take your therapy.

I had the best experience with this school! Jose was the most kind, patient, and knowledgable instructor. The new 2024 Prius was a dream- it has all the features to make a new driver feel confident behind the wheel. All my driving anxieties vanished within the first few lessons, all thanks to Jose. Got my license on my first attempt, just in time for my new job. Communicating via email can have some delays, but once I got a hold of the instructor and team, everything was consistent and great. Thank you immensely!!!
