I have been a client at this hair salon since its inception in 1992. Contrary to that bizarre 3-star review, I can assure anyone reading this that I have always been thrilled with my experience here. The stylists and receptionist are professional, accomplished, very friendly and very accommodating. They keep appointments faithfully, and I’ve never waited more than a couple of minutes (unless I arrived ridiculously early). I’ve had everything done you can think of: cuts, color, processing, stripping color, gloss, highlights…I’ve never left here without being totally satisfied. This is a 5-star salon, you can be sure of that!

We are just visiting and were very happy with our experience by Mrs Patty. My husband who is from Trinidad and Tobago was so pleased with his new look that he didn't missed his regular Barber. She took her time. She applied some moisturizer so skin was still feeling like a baby the next day. She is very friendly and met one of her customers who comes all the way from Brooklyn. As he said it is a one stop shop. You can have a spa day if you wish. Definitely recommended ?

My experience as a woman at Hopkins Barber was overwhelmingly delightful. Richard R. is one of the barbers at Hopkins that cut my hair. I thought the task I gave him, a modified version of a "fade" style that I was going for would be challenging for him, but he accomplished the look I wanted without question. He is confidently skilled with his clippers and hair cutting. I found my barber for life and hope he continues his profession at Hopkins Barber. If not, I will stalk him to cut my hair wherever he is, LOL.
I had a great experience here. I was visiting NYC for work, and wanted a haircut later in the evening after dinner. I saw Sculptures was open late, and took the train from Manhattan (it was an easy commute, and they are just a block or so away from the train station). Jesus gave me a cut. He took his time and was obviously a real professional. I'm very happy with the cut --it looks great. They have reasonable prices given the time and care they took. The salon itself is beautiful always clean, pink, and welcoming. It truly feels like a safe and comfortable space to relax. I also love that I can get my nails and my hair done all in the same place, which makes the experience so convenient.
What really stands out is their care and professionalism. When we asked if they could perform a pedicure for my dad, they were extremely accommodating and attentive to the specific requests I shared to make sure he felt comfortable throughout the service. Owner Larry has cut my hair for over ten years and I’ve never had a complaint but see for yourself and make an appointment. Metered and unmetered parking is available in the area with a bagel shop, a falafel restaurant and other shopping opportunities nearby. Choosing a new stylist can be tricky but if you speak with Larry he will direct you to the best stylist for your needs. Highly recommend.

It’s rare to find a service where everything goes smoothly and the results actually match your expectations. The rug came back looking great, smelling clean, and feeling much nicer overall. Nothing about it felt rushed or careless.

My partner and I used Green Duster Cleaning Services for the first time today. Ursula was wonderful and did a great job deep cleaning our bathroom and kitchen. The cleaning ladies did a good job the 1st one hour but rushed through it for the remaining minutes which caused them leaving one room uncleaned. It would be better if they didn't rush. Maybe 2hrs would have done it.
Barry was here this morning, on time, to examine a problem with our new tub. His explanation of things was spot on and understandable, leaving me with no questions to ask. He contacted the manufacturer while still here and arranged a replacement.

My husband found Nunez Construction online, and he came to our apartment. We were supposed to paint our bedroom, but he advised us to fix the bathroom instead. We painted the bathroom, which was in pretty bad shape, and our bedroom first. His team did a fantastic job with it, so we painted the whole house. His team is excellent; they did such a precise job. We will work with them next year for the kitchen.

With the recent invasion of raccoons in Brookly and Queens, we were faced with a major problem. Mr. Derrick came out responded quickly and was able to capture these creatures/pests. The state of the art facility in Bayside is conveniently located on Bell blvd in a beautifully restored landmark property. More towards the quiet side of Bell there is ample street parking metered and otherwise.
The officers are clean modern and tastefully appointed They also offer an inhouse dental plan that saves a lot on dental costs. Bottom line Dental Expressions have kept me smiling for years.

Since moving to Queens, I have been searching for a dentist who knows how to properly take care of their patients. I am extremely pleased with how they treated me the moment I booked my appointment. The receptionist was professional and helped me make my appointment. The hygienist, Eric greeted me and my children as soon as we walked through the door and made sure we were comfortable throughout my appointment and after. Eric is very thorough and knowledgeable. The dentist Dr. Mark was also caring, helpful and knowledgeable. The team at Forest Hills Dental displayed compassion, kindness, knowledge, and wisdom. It has taken me years to actually find a dentist who knows their “stuff”, treats their patients teeth properly, and are not trying to charge patients additional nonsense out of pocket fees. I will be going back and recommending them to everyone nearby.
Side note: They also offered me a room to breastfeed my 3 month old when he started crying. As a mother with multiple children, it is hard trying to make appointments for myself during the day, but the hygienist, Eric and Dr. Mark helped me! I am appreciative and thankful I was able to find people like them.

She squeezed me in to see my two newly adopted cats when I found out one of them was given to me sick. She examined them both and prescribed medicine, taking the time to teach me how to administer and tips on how to keep the cats calm and how to prevent myself from getting scratched! She has since been very kind to answer all my follow up worry some questions and has also taken care of my dog. If you’ve been searching for a vet, I highly recommend you put your trust in Dr. Pozo!

He got all his shots to keep him as healthy as possible. I’ve scheduled dental cleaning and exam as he’s already had extractions in TX before he came to NYC to be adopted. He’s compromised but stupendous and brings a smile to all who see him skip and hop. Quiet, follows me interested in everything, person and animal that crosses his path. Dr Yau is gentle, through and exudes competence and care. I subscribe to their discount program and am delighted. The cost of care is outweighed by the pleasure and love I get every day and broken down by 12 months is very reasonable.

Friendly staff. They worked really well with my reactive dog and made him feel comfortable during the visit. They explained what treatments needed to be done and provided a breakdown in price. The vet we saw that particular Saturday was very kind, as was the nurse. Naturally, the one thing that didn’t sit well with me was the price of everything that needed to be done, but if you don’t have pet insurance, it is what it is. Nonetheless, I plan on going here moving forward.

I’ve had two great experiences at IAC Urgent Vets Queens this week when getting my cat treated for an eye infection. I initially brought her in as a walk-in and then came back a few days later for a treatment adjustment/re-check. Both times, the admin, doctors, and vet staff were very friendly and helpful and explained in detail the potential courses of action, prognosis, and costs. My kitten is formerly feral and can be quite skittish, but they were great with her. Her eye is improving very well and I am extremely pleased with the care she received. Thank you, IAC Urgent Vets! We will definitely be back if we need your services in the future.

5 stars all the way! This was our first time coming to Astoria Dog Wash. We got a small tour and we were off to washing our rescue foster dog from Waldo's Rescue. She was so terrified, but we strapped her in, and gave her a great doggy wash and dry! This place is great! Absolutely recommend. We definitely will be back! This place is genius!
I am so happy how Marie’s grooming took care of Charlie. They did such a good job on my boy. The staff is so nice and made myself and my dog very comfortable. They cut his hair and took care of absolutely everything from his hair, nails, ears and teeth. I would recommend everyone who has a dog to take them to Marie’s grooming without hesitation. Great experience we will be regulars there.

Kay’s Yoga Foundations class is amazing. Her focus on alignment has helped so much with my back pain. I’m now 35 weeks pregnant and have been going weekly my whole pregnancy. Kay gives me great modifications and has helped me to feel strong, comfortable and pain free through pregnancy and hopefully well prepared for birth!

Had a Vinyasa session with Ian today. I've only tried yoga twice about 10 years ago so was feeling a little nervous about it but it wasn't so bad even as a beginner! The class was great and time passed by quickly. I wasn't sure about some of the poses but Ian explained as he went without it interrupting the flow of the class.
I had never done Pilates before working with Sheena, and with a desk job, my body really needed it. Six months in, I’m stronger, more flexible, and feel so much better overall. Pilates after a long day of sitting has become my reset. It helps me de-stress and actually feel good in my body again. Sheena pushes me in the best way, and I’m doing exercises now that I never thought I could. Can’t wait to see where I’m at in another six months!

They only do scheduled appointments but it's very worth it! They managed to put me in their schedule as early and available as possible. The masseuse made sure that I was comfortable the whole time. Definitely coming back!

Michele recommended dermaplane. I have sensitive skin and do not like the sensation of the masks usually used. It was a good idea and tried it. Michele was friendly and knowledgeable.I felt comfortable and plan to return.
Oh man I could barely walk when I went in! When I was done I could actually stand up straight and no more pain!! Cupping was new and awesome! The massage wow she hit every knot! Thank you! Acupuncture was spot on as well! I highly recommend here!!!
This place is very good and has helped me a lot. The facilities are very nice and all the equipment is good as well. The guy working there Yash is a very nice gentleman, he gives me a very nice therapy massage and is helping me with my shoulder and hip, I give him 5 stars and the place 5 stars too. Very recommended place to take your therapy.

I had the best experience with this school! Jose was the most kind, patient, and knowledgable instructor. The new 2024 Prius was a dream- it has all the features to make a new driver feel confident behind the wheel. All my driving anxieties vanished within the first few lessons, all thanks to Jose. Got my license on my first attempt, just in time for my new job. Communicating via email can have some delays, but once I got a hold of the instructor and team, everything was consistent and great. Thank you immensely!!!
