“Elan did a great job installing the lock on my front door. He walked me through the different types of locks and helped me decide what was best for my door. When there were issues with the door due to the previous installation unrelated to him, he went out of his way to fix those issues without extra charge. His rate is very reasonable and he is very responsive. I called him in the morning and despite it not being an emergency, he swung by in the evening. A year later, he came by for a free maintenance test to make sure the lock was working well. I would recommend Elan if you need a locksmith.“

So was the person in charge of taking the calls-- shout-out to Natalie!After encountering many scam operations pretending to be locksmith shops, I was very nervous. Search engines such as Google and Yelp aren't legally able to take down these scam listings due to a law protecting communication of information on the internet. So all those locksmiths with 5-star reviews in the hundreds? Check if they actually have a locksmith shop. If they don't have a physical address, that's a red flag. If you look up their listed physical address on Google Maps, and you can't find the shop itself at the address, that's another red flag.J Stein, however, is legitimate.“
