428 Columbus Ave, New York“I was bracing for exorbitant costs for a routine mature lady cat checkup. Dr Ball was really nice, patient, and reasonable. She is also a very good educator and I think all pet parents would benefit from all her helpful advice and care. The staff, as usual, were kind and friendly. I was quite pleased with the appointment. The experience made me want to come back and have Dr Ball keep taking care of Mochi to provide the best quality of life for the cat. Thank you!“

6209 Fresh Pond Rd, Queens“I've been going to Veterinary Care Group - Middle Village (Antillys prior to that) for 25+ years. The amazing ladies at the desk, vet techs, and doctors are all professional, caring, and go above and beyond to assist in every way. My cat is a little feisty, but Dr. Ivanoff knows how to handle him; secretly, I think Hanky likes him! Hanky has health issues, and Dr. Ivanoff has been there for us every step of the way to provide guidance and support - he truly loves his patients! Thank you to everyone at Vet Care Group!“

2560 Coney Island Ave, Brooklyn“I have taken 2 cats' there. When my 1st was sick and eventually had to be put down, Dr. Max and the staff were wonderful. Helping me figure out what was wrong and explaining things to me as far as maybe putting her down. They took my second cat no problem and were just as great with treating her. She has anxiety and a heart murmur and again Dr. Max was wonderful with her. When I was getting ready to move out of the state I asked a lot of questions about how to travel with her, medication, etc... They are a wonderful place and I recommend anyone take their pets there.

66 Westchester Square, Bronx“- Excellent doctors (recommend Dr. Bassman), excellent techs, excellent front office staff, excellent management. No exceptions, which is rare.
- Facility is kept immaculate without feeling sterile.
- Very transparent pricing.
- Their “Fear Free” handling can really make a difference, especially for older or vulnerable cats that can actually get sicker from stress.
- Management and staff have always been responsive to even minor feedback.
- Handling of insurance is seamless. Never have to even think about it.
After 5+ years of having 3 cats at Heart of Chelsea (2 routine/healthy cats, one who went through an uncommon illness) we couldn’t be happier and have never been disappointed.
It’s a 25 minute trip for us, but easily worth it.
If you want to keep a healthy pet healthy, or have excellent, expert care for an aging or ill pet, I highly recommend Heart of Chelsea.
Thanks Carlos, Rebecca, Dr. Bassman & Adrianna!“

988b Morris Park Ave, Bronx“We found Dr. Solomon last summer. Our first visit was for our cat, Loki, to be neutered. I was impressed with how much time Doctor Solomon took with us to explain everything during the consultation. Much different atmosphere than my previous vet. Everything also went great with the neutering and the cost was very affordable. Our second visit was with my senior dog, who after having a couple bad experiences at the previous vet was a little skittish of the vet and they were no longer even able to get blood work from her without her whining and crying. This is a dog that doesn’t typically cry over anything. Dr. Solomon took this into consideration, shaved the area, used calming petting and other techniques to keep her calm and was able to get blood. All the vet techs at the office genuinely love animals and you can tell they love their job. We have recently had some health scares with Loki and Dr. Solomon has been so good at explaining everything and giving us options. He’s always also given multiple options for a treatment when possible in case cost is a factor. His front desk staff is very professional and friendly. I am so glad that we found Bronx County animal Hospital. We plan on continuing bringing our present and future furry children to him!“

403 E 37th St, New York“After months of trying to treat my cat’s strange breathing problems and more recent Horner’s syndrome, I took my cat here for an internal medicine consult with Dr. Ferreri and Alyssa. They were both deeply kind and courteous. They thoroughly examined and explained the existing documentation + considered all the possibilities given my boy’s medical history. Best yet, they explained the reasoning behind treatment decisions both past and present. I found this last bit very reassuring (in spite of my chronic worries as a pet parent). If you’re in doubt, don’t be!! This is definitely the place.“

360 Neptune Ave, Brooklyn“Prompt treatment following the initial appointment at a very reasonable price. The quality of care was excellent. Another clinic suggested waiting until my cat began showing signs of pain, but cats cannot communicate discomfort. Rather than waiting for the condition to worsen, Dr. Korobkova promptly addressed and resolved all of my cat’s dental issues with professionalism and care.“

She squeezed me in to see my two newly adopted cats when I found out one of them was given to me sick. She examined them both and prescribed medicine, taking the time to teach me how to administer and tips on how to keep the cats calm and how to prevent myself from getting scratched! She has since been very kind to answer all my follow up worry some questions and has also taken care of my dog. If you’ve been searching for a vet, I highly recommend you put your trust in Dr. Pozo!“

249-36 Horace Harding Expy, Little Neck“Honestly, this place is lovely. I have been to many vets over the years and I have never felt as safe as I do here. They do not shame- my cat is overweight and they remained focused on a plan, not on making me feel like a bad pet parent. Whats even crazier is that my cats do not fear the carrier. While they will cry in the car once they are in the vet office they are calm. They come home relaxed. I think about all the trauma my other cats had at previous vets and it honestly breaks my heart knowing this was an option the whole time. VCG are profoundly lovely and caring people.“

“Took our two cats for an annual wellness checkup. Dr. Shelson was kind, did a thorough checkup and was very clear about next steps and pricing. The facility itself was clean and staff was kind and professional. Would definitely recommend“
