“We were visiting Rochester and my son lost one of screws for the nose pieces. Repairs kits did work out so we called Shaw and they fixed my son’s glasses in a few minutes and even adjusted them! If I lived in the area I would go to Shaw. Great people there. Thanks.“

“I stopped in this morning hoping to get my father's reading glasses repaired—he's not in a position to do so himself. Tricia was able to get the VA-supplied prescription lenses into a new set of frames for him which will be a great source of comfort that he needs. At this point in my life I do not need glasses myself, but if they become necessary in the future I know where I'm going.“

“For and older woman needing glasses for the first time and very confused about the process they were so attentive and caring. I was made comfortable during my exam and he even took time to help me pick out my first pair of glasses which took a while. I am very happy I went with this place! Great experience!“

“Great experience at the Victor location. From the moment I stepped in the office, everyone was friendly. I was a little early to my visit and the associated took me immediately. There were no delays in my care. The doctor was just as prompt. He answered all of my questions. I was able to have my exam, run over to East View mall to pick up frames I wanted, and go right back to Vision Works to get fitted for my new lenses in under 1-hour. Overall, very happy with their efficiency and how friendly all of the staff were!“

“Dr Gupta was very friendly, got me in a little early and was very professional. The woman who checked me in initially was also very friendly. However the last woman who cashed me out for glasses was pretty unpleasant. She offered me anti-scratch and glare protection (didn’t mention cost) and also a one year warranty for the glasses. I also asked her about transition glasses and what they cost. When I asked her the cost she said “I can tell you after”. I had her add the anti-scratch and then still without telling me cost she asked which color I wanted the transitions. She left and returned a few minutes later saying I owed 150 after insurance. She never gave me the cost for the transitional lenses despite me asking at the start of the convo and a second time before she brought me the bill. She seemed annoyed by the fact that I was concerned about cost and what insurance would/wouldn’t cover. I’m not sure if they make commission or something but if you are going to offer extra protection/warranties/etc you should at the bare minimum explain to people how they would benefit from these added things. Making people feel bad for asking the price of things is a sure-fire way to make sure if they return they ask for someone else to assist them. Also, loudly gossiping about other customers when people are in earshot is a really bad look. I will return purely for the fact that the other two people were fantastic but to the redheaded lady with the permanent scowl, you are in the wrong field dear. Do something where you don’t have to interact with people if it’s that hard to have very very basic manners.“
