The differences in my son's writing, depth perception and bilateral coordination were HUGE after he finished vision therapy. It's like he was finally able to unlock some door in the barrier that previously had prevented him from making progress in school and his IEP goals. Just to give an example: He went through the bulk of his vision therapy over the spring and summer. OT and PT goals were set in June and we felt confident his accommodations matched the level of need as he's a child with ADHD who struggles intensely to focus and has high sensory needs in the classroom. From the welcome at the door, to working with Dr. Farrands, then with Sherry and finally at check-out, everyone was so friendly, professional and helpful. It was a wonderful experience! I especially felt like I was in very good hands with the doctor. She listened carefully, asked many questions and seemed to do a very thorough exam. (I apologize for misspelling anyone’s names.) it was a great experience. Thank you.

Yesterday I had my first appointment at Allen’s Creek Family Optometry. I am so thankful for the warm and friendly Welcome from the entire Office Staff and the professional care I received from Optometrist Dr Langer and Optician Alana Firlit. I need prisms in my lenses to enable my eyes to focus together - Dr Langer used a monitor showing my eyes’ movements to establish the prismatic intensity needed so that I did not have double vision - He explained much about about how my eyes work -I felt I learned so much and it was interesting and empowering to participate in the process!
