“I recently had a very favorable experience working with Clover Heating and Oil in resolving an issue with the oil-fueled boiler for the steam radiators at my property at 38 Longview Ave., White Plains, NY, 10605. The boiler was shutting off after brief periods of operation, and replacement of several parts of the pump yielded no long term solution. Clover Owner Anthony Marmo at this point thought outside of the box and consulted with manufacturers of the unit to learn of an unusual but occasional occurrence of Seized Fuel Units. Clover installed an additional and redundant filtering device, and the boiler now works perfectly. Throughout my work with Anthony, with Bridgette and Samira of the dispatching staff, and with Alex and Manny, the on-site technicians, I found Clover to be prompt, responsive, expert and patient in explaining and solving the issues and deciding the courses to take. “This business is amazing!When I first spoke to Ayshu and Gwen about the leaky outside faucet at the house I grew up in, but now rented in White Plains, they were very understanding of my concerns.I had received an outrageous estimate from another local company that my parents had used for years. The other plumber deemed a valve shut-off was necessary by the City of White Plains, and an excavation by one of their associate construction companies was required. The estimate was over $5000!My parents were school teachers in White Plains. My father worked with plumbers in the summer when school was out of session, and he cleaned furnaces. He built this house in 1963. I found it hard to believe a 60 year old house that had been well taken care of for the 50 years they lived in it could have fallen into such a state of disrepair.All-Self Plumbing listened to my story, and the owner- Bahru, promised to give me an honest estimate. “I have used R&M for many years. The first time the owner came over years ago for a second opinion. A different company said I need to replace a 9 year old HVAC costing $10,000. R&M took a look and ended up fabricating a part and it ended up costing $1,500. I realized then they would be the company I would be using going forward. That unit is still working 13 years later. They have done many repairs and also installed a new HVAC unit. They have been very responsive on many occasions. I have a 93 year old Mother living in the house, and losing AC in the middle of the summer is quite scary. They are very processional and honest. “I have been using Cross County for over 15 years. During that time they have responded same day to emergency calls, serviced heating systems and appliances, replaced water heaters and repaired leaks.Recently I made the mistake of using a _different_ local plumber who was top rated on Google reviews. That plumber made errors in repairing my gas heating system which ultimately led to a gas leak in the house. They came out 3 times to try and resolve it, and were useless.I called Cross County who quickly identified and fixed issues with my gas line. I cannot stress enough the level of professionalism and diligence they demonstrated in the repair.They are not the cheapest, but the work done is of a uniformly high standard. When it comes to issues involving water and _especially_ gas inside your house using a budget plumber is risky. I want someone who I can trust to do that work properly for the protection of my family.Cross County is the only plumber in North Bergen County I trust, and I thoroughly recommend them to you.“

“I was hired to help prepare a 100 year old townhouse for sale. It had been vacant for two to three years and needed some sprucing up. Never having owned a home, but being a life long NYC apartment dweller, I was nervous about the process of finding the right people to do everything that needed doing. Thank goodness I found NYC Brownstone first. Jack and Justin and their team are experts, honest, professional and responsive. Jack met with me and went over the entire 7 floors and we talked about what it made sense to do and what it did not. There was a leak over the door to the patio on the 2nd floor that turned out to be a big deal and was coming from the patio on the 3rd floor. The ceiling had to be ripped out and the patio pavers on the third floor had to be ripped out. Jack saved us $12K by suggeesting we not re-pave the patio, just leave the waterproof membrane once it was down since it looked good and the new owners would no doubt want to re-do it to their taste. Their crew was there for over three weeks and I got an email every evening with a report on who had been there and what had been accomplished. The work site was spotless, floors and woodwork were meticulously protected, everything was cleaned up every night. Six months later, when the place was finally staged, we discovered mold on a wall. I called NYC Brownstone and they were there the next day. Well, that turned into a leaking waste pipe buried in a brick wall. Once again, Jack and Justin and the team are as responsive, professional and organized as before. If I ever win the lottery and buy a brownstone, the first thing I will do is sign a maintenance contract with NYC Brownstone.“
