“I recently had a very favorable experience working with Clover Heating and Oil in resolving an issue with the oil-fueled boiler for the steam radiators at my property at 38 Longview Ave., White Plains, NY, 10605. The boiler was shutting off after brief periods of operation, and replacement of several parts of the pump yielded no long term solution. Clover Owner Anthony Marmo at this point thought outside of the box and consulted with manufacturers of the unit to learn of an unusual but occasional occurrence of Seized Fuel Units. Clover installed an additional and redundant filtering device, and the boiler now works perfectly. Throughout my work with Anthony, with Bridgette and Samira of the dispatching staff, and with Alex and Manny, the on-site technicians, I found Clover to be prompt, responsive, expert and patient in explaining and solving the issues and deciding the courses to take. “This business is amazing!When I first spoke to Ayshu and Gwen about the leaky outside faucet at the house I grew up in, but now rented in White Plains, they were very understanding of my concerns.I had received an outrageous estimate from another local company that my parents had used for years. The other plumber deemed a valve shut-off was necessary by the City of White Plains, and an excavation by one of their associate construction companies was required. The estimate was over $5000!My parents were school teachers in White Plains. My father worked with plumbers in the summer when school was out of session, and he cleaned furnaces. He built this house in 1963. “I have used R&M for many years. The first time the owner came over years ago for a second opinion. A different company said I need to replace a 9 year old HVAC costing $10,000. R&M took a look and ended up fabricating a part and it ended up costing $1,500. I realized then they would be the company I would be using going forward. That unit is still working 13 years later. They have done many repairs and also installed a new HVAC unit. They have been very responsive on many occasions. I have a 93 year old Mother living in the house, and losing AC in the middle of the summer is quite scary. They are very processional and honest. “Called on a Tuesday morning about water in the basement that I suspected was from a slow leak in the hot water tank. The owner of PP&H came by later that afternoon to make an inspection and found water in the tank setting after removing the pilot guard, quoted a price, and arranged to come replace the tank Thursday morning at our request. Arrived 8:30 AM on the arranged date with two crew members, replaced the water tank and three valves, removed the old tank, and was complete by 10:30 AM. Thoroughly satisfied with the quality of work, speed, and service!“
