3701 McKinley Pkwy, Blasdell“I've been a member here since 2018 and took a break after Covid hit but i rejoined last Aug and the staff has always been super friendly. Most of them also remember you by name. The facility is clean and bigger than most gyms i've seen and I've never had any issues with any of the members there. The crowd is better here compared to other chains. When i rejoined, I decided to try out their personal training program to get back in shape and it has been an amazing experience. My trainer Matt has been great to work with and i highly recommend him and Maddy the training director is a pleasure to deal with as well. They explained everything very clearly and i was never surprised with anything during the program. They help to make sure you reach the desired goal with monthly measurement/check ins and keep you motivated.“

97 Main St, Hamburg“I can’t say enough about this place. I always had to push myself to go to the gym. I would get as far as the front door and turn around and go home. This doesn’t feel like a gym at all.
From the first time, I met Ren and the team I felt welcomed, supported, and liked. No shame at Rise, no matter your size, or endurance you are accepted.
Now, today, I actually look forward to going and I’m there on average 4 days a week and actually see and feel the change in my health.
Thank you Rise!!“

133 Grant St, Buffalo“Shakti Yoga is a special spot. Yes, it's a place to practice yoga. But it's also a community and an anchoring point in this topsy-turvy world, too. Yes, Michelle and her team are teaching yoga. But this is also a place to practice more than poses and moving our bodies. It really is about breath and learning to move in the world from a creative, grounded, and alive place within ourselves, together. Come! Whether you've never set foot on a yoga mat before, or you've been practicing for years. Come, be in the room with us and see what's here for you.“

394 Franklin St Suite 2, Buffalo“As an 88 year old guy, I know how important it is to keep moving , stretching and challenging my muscles. Dan has been very professional and helpful during my home sessions.“
“Fabulous. Had gotten away from yoga with covid, started back this January. I am an old guy, 67 but pretty fit. Love the power yoga, gives me the flexibility I need and also great cardio. Extra special during the winter months or when there are storms and I can't exercise outside easily. Had to learn that with my knee I can't do the up and down flow as quickly as the young folks, the instructors are great about reminding us that we all need to follow what our bodies need. I had to chill out and remember that it is not a competition, that is my issue not PYB's. Every instructor gives you something, and over time they change their classes just enough, perhaps concentrating on a particular area for one or two classes, something you may want to incorporate into your practice. I live out of town but am in Buffalo working 2 weeks a month, love this place, it is one of the great things about working here in Buffalo.“

266 Buffalo St, Hamburg“I feel AMAZING after a few visits to Kula Yoga in Hamburg. It’s a really nice, clean and super friendly studio. The teachers are very good and also encouraging. Unlike many Bikram studios it has hard wood flooring, fans and air purifiers. This makes the experience much nicer! Along with that are large dressing rooms with showers. Also the juice/smoothie/bowl cafe allows yoga students to pre order, so your smoothie is ready for you after class. I’ve been to many Bikram studios (including Bikram’s in LA) - this is the nicest I’ve seen!!!!“

“I've been working out with Jeremy for about four months now. I've worked with two other personal trainers over the past several years, and I can say in complete sincerity, Jeremy offers the best fit for me. I really enjoy my workouts and how hard he pushes me to achieve my fitness goals. I've had the opportunity to be introduced to some of his other training clients either as they're leaving at the start of my session or coming in as I'm heading out the door. Everyone is extremely friendly, and I am truly amazed by the diverse clientele. He's got clients in their 80s coming to the gym to work out with him! I've seen men and women of all ages and fitness levels walking through those doors.
3 To Be Fit offers classes, but I can only speak to the one-on-one training. I'm not a "class" girl. (Classy? Mostly. Classes? Not my thing.) If you just realized your doctor was saying, "exercise" and not "extra fries," I absolutely suggest you come see Jeremy for some personal training. If you think you can't work out because you've got a bad back/neck/wrist/leg, think again. I'm in need of another go-round of my bilateral carpal tunnel surgery because my wrists are wrecked. I've had a spinal fusion on my L5/S1. I have compartment syndrome, which makes my legs get super-cramped at the most inconvenient times. Still, Jeremy finds exercises to work around these things. Some days I can do the sets he has planned for me, and other days I need him to adjust because my wrists can't take the weight. He was also sure to tell me from the beginning that if I absolutely hate a certain exercise, we will find something else to work that same muscle group. In other words, if you hate jumping rope, he'll let you skip it. If you're not into weights, but love books, I'll bet he'll let you lift dictionaries to add some definition to those muscles!
If you're a military veteran, there are discounts. I'm pretty sure he's got something through Independent Health as well. Myself, I pay the full price because it's worth it. I mean, if it weren't for Jeremy, I wouldn't be where I am today -- putting the BUFF in Buffalo. Okay, I'll stop now.“
