Last Thursday was a tough grief anniversary for me. On these days I am a firm believer in self care. I was looking for a sense of grounding & belonging which I found at Shine! The atmosphere was so calming & Sara was so welcoming. The old Victorian home was stunning & provided a more personal experience. The tea time after class was exactly what I needed before heading back into my day. I can’t wait to go back to restore my body, mind & spirit!
The nicest instructors and personnel. There are classes to help in the pain reduction as well as strengthening your muscles and joints. They will work with you and the issues you are enduring. There is a calm and peaceful feeling. Enjoy.
The yoga class Resilience:
If you want to understand how your muscles work with poses, to have a stronger practice, AND get the most out of your body during class, then this class is perfect. Sara is great at explaining the muscle structure and helps you to engage your muscles as you move through poses. You really feel it in the area of focus, and I love it. When I go to another class I can bring this knowledge of muscle engagement with me. This will not only strengthen my body but also help me to get the most out of my hour on my mat.
