“Home-fix is awesome; very professional from salesman to contractor and everything in between. They were quick about making things happen! They ordered the door and was made and installed within a month. Quality is one of the best on the market; it’s much better than renewal by Anderson and they’re more expensive with a lower quality door. HF had no issues when I asked for their contractors license and proof of insurance (which everyone should always do, unless you’re purposefully hiring a non-licensed worker.). Yes the door is more expensive than the top of the line box store door but I won’t have to replace it in 15-20 years or sooner. It’s a door that I’ll never have to worry about again! That alone is worth the extra cost; if I’m honest when I priced everything the Provia brand wasn’t a whole heck of a lot more than the box store products; unless I was looking for a cheap cheap door then it’s not your place; but if you’re looking for something that’ll last and don’t need to ever worry about this is the company. I decided against renewal by Anderson because they were rude to me, often hung up and their doors warp like a box store door if you look at the 10-20 year reviews. I’m not saying I would never go with RBA but they’d never be my first choice ever! Customer service is as equally as important as product.If you’re paying someone to do work for you; it needs to be done right so it’s never worried about again and home-fix is that company; otherwise I’d rather do the work myself.“

“Michael and the teams that work with him have been great! We’ve had several jobs worked on and completed this year and are looking forward to having more work done next year. Our house is a split-level from the 60s and has been wanting some renovations. Michael has helped us update the layout of our master bed/bath/closet to allow for a larger modernized bathroom and closet, which we love! We’ve also worked with him on demoing our old wood deck and knocking out some windows to create a new composite deck with sliding doors to walk out to the deck from our dining space (another project we’ve been thinking about for years!). We’re currently working with Michael on next steps for converting our carport into a garage and renovating an old concrete slab patio to go with our new deck. We’ve been very pleased with the outcomes of each project and Michael has been excellent at helping ensure any details/specifications are met throughout each project.“

In addition, their estimate included a chimney, cap, gutters, and a new crawlspace door. Lewis, the project manager visited every day and personally spoke with me. “Little Corner Construction replaced all the windows in our house (more than 30 windows), expanded the size of one of our windows, replaced the back door and surrounding windows and transoms, repaired wood rot around our house, replaced 25% of our siding, and painted our house. It was a tremendous project and it took a few months, but it was worth it and our 32-year-old house looks brand new!I worked primarily with Vivian, who was very professional and made sure we had everything we needed for the project. Miguel was the on-site project lead, and the quality and attention to detail of his work was unparalleled. The team came out to our house on a couple of occasions before the project started to take thorough measurements and discuss any additional work we needed done. Vivian was super knowledgeable, friendly, and easy to talk to, and at no point did we ever feel bullied or belittled (which is rare for construction companies).The pricing of the project was in line with (and slightly less than) other estimates. And Vivian always returned my phone calls and emails, unlike our experience with some other construction companies.From our perspective, the only notable areas of improvement for Little Corner were time estimates and communication regarding work days. We started the project at the beginning of October and were told everything would be complete by Halloween. When that passed, it was a stretch to get the windows and doors complete by Thanksgiving. The entire project (including siding, painting, etc.) was done shortly after Christmas, and then there were a few minor items that stretched out a couple of months after that. Given, we added on a few items to our original project scope, but the project would still have taken 6-8 weeks longer than originally estimated, even without a lot of rain or other weather delays. If the estimate had been 2-3 months from the beginning, it would not have been a problem for us. The other area of improvement was work days: it would have been great to have an update at the beginning of each week regarding which days the guys would be working on the house. We were usually notified in the mornings after the work day began that the team would not be showing up that day, either due to weather or other scheduling issues. It wasn't a huge deal, but there were a few occasions that we had to rearrange our day last minute when the team couldn't show up.With that being said, we would definitely work with Little Corner again in a heartbeat. When the project was complete (and even after we had paid our final invoice), Vivian was great at following up and making sure that every little thing on our checklist was complete. I've never worked with a construction company that was as easy to work with, as detailed oriented, and of as high of quality as Little Corner. They were very respectful of our property, did great work all around, and they did not call out any unnecessary items that needed repairs. Thanks for everything!“

“The work on my house blossomed into more work for Darrell so much that he had to go to other jobs and come back to finish them! I added the shed & deck to the original job. First he power washed and checked for irregularities in the structures and wood. We had quite a few boards that got spackled and a lot of the soffit under the gutters were rotten through. Once the bases were repaired to his satisfaction, the exterior color and trim were applied in a flash! The shed was stained and the deck got new boards and a fresh coat of deck saver. I feel my house is "show ready" and I thank the Cohns for all their hard work.“

Vlad, Sergio, and team did a fantastic job replacing our countertops/backsplash, removing cabinets, and rebuilding our sink (it had leaked for a while and destroyed the cabinetry underneath!). If I had one critique it would simply be the project management system didn't seem to be used much, so most communication was by email, which just wasn't my preference but definitely not a blocker. In the end, they did amazing work with extreme attention to detail. I highly recommend.“
