“Called in Aircomfort for a second opinion on replacing my AC unit after a previous company told me it was beyond fixing. The two techs had it fixed in under an hour for less than $300 when the other company was insistent on selling me a whole new unit for $10k. Aircomfort was honest with me about the life expectancy of my unit going forward and what to look out for when it actually needs replacing. Great service and no up-sell, just solutions.“

“Donovan, a salesperson with Comfort Solutions, out of Osseo, MN responded to an inquiry I had about an issue with my Trane air conditioner. I had Genz Ryan come out to do a tune up and was told my compressor was bad and my gas regulator was leaking. The cost for them to replace the gas regulator was $600 and the compressor was estimated to be $4000 to $5000. The technician recommended replacement for the AC. I told him I had the repair plan with CenterPoint Energy, so I would have them evaluate my AC. CenterPoint Energy came out and told me the gas regulator was not leaking, however the AC compressor was bad and their repair plan did not cover the replacement of the compressor. The technician immediately connected me to a sales person to assist me with purchasing a new AC unit.

I reached out directly to Trane, the manufacturer of my AC unit, because it may have been under warranty. Donovan with Comfort Solutions took interest in my AC compressor issue because he stated it's unusual for the compressor to go out on a unit that was barely ten years old. I told Donovan this is my second Trane AC and I couldn't believe the compressor was bad. Donovan scheduled a technician from Comfort Solutions to come and evaluate my AC. The technician was great with his assessment and found the capacitor was bad and the compressor was functioning well. It has been over a month and my Trane AC is functioning very well. I thank God for Donovan receiving my request for assistance and sending a Trane technician to repair my AC. I had already started speaking to sales people to purchase a new AC which would have been $5k+.

I recommend Comfort Solutions for any HVAC repairs and needs. I will avoid using technicians that receive a commission from the sale of new equipment. I will continue to use Comfort Solutions for my AC assessments.

The new furnace is in and the house is toasty! We have a fancy new system with a heat pump, a super efficient air filter, and a thermostat that I can control with my phone! What will they think of next? We used a local company, Comfort Matters. We didn't get a bunch of estimates because we were in dire straits, freezing our tuchuses off. We had contact with several young people from start to finish: repair guy, estimator guy, duct cleaning guys, installers, electricians, supervisors...each and every one of them was competent, polite, helpful, and above all, kind. What a great experience! The system seems to be working, we should get rebates and credits, and lower energy bills too!

Thanks to friends and neighbors who offered help, space heaters and a place to stay if it got too bad (it didn't, with only the last night being below zero degrees Farenheit).

“Bought my home in Elk River with a LuxAire LX series high efficiency furnace and A/C forced air system that was installed by Phil's 2 years earlier (2010). Ten years later I had to replace the A/C capacitor which is very typical. I had Aquarius do an A/C tune up and the Freon was low about 2 Lbs. Not sure if hardware is leaking or the lines connections. I was told the "A" coil in the furnace was re-used, probably the previous owners decision, and needs to be replaced since it's dripping water on the furnace heating coils from the pan above. Looking for quotes on new A/C system now. I guess these systems really do only last 10 - 15 years. The install work looks to be top notch. I plan on having a Carrier system installed now.“
