“Had the vent exhaust enducer fan motor replaced. Good service came within 1/2 hr. Had one on the truck for the Bryant furnace. The motor cost $234, with labor complete I paid $634. $400 labor thought it was a bit much for an 1/2 work, to remove three screws.“

“Just had a great experience with Briarwood Heating and Cooling. I had a High Eff. Boiler that was starting to show its age and parts were becoming harder to find. After doing some research I decided I wanted to use a Lochinvar Boiler as its replacement. Briarwood is a certified Lochinvar installer and after reviewing my goals with them, we had the same vision to improve my layout of the boiler room. “They did a fantastic job of cleaning my air ducts, which I might add have not been cleaned in 27 years! They showed me images of my ducts before and after so I could see just how bad they were and how much better looked after the cleaning.

The two gentlemen who did the cleaning were very friendly and explained their whole process to me. They were even very friendly to my dog and my 20 month old curious son!

“Our furnace went out on a Sunday, and A Plus was able to squeeze us in, which we truly appreciated. Miron came out and was extremely kind and helpful, especially considering it was a Sunday. He actually helped us last year as well, and once again provided great service.

Our furnace appeared to have burned out due to recent power outages. Miron explained everything clearly and recommended a surge protector to prevent this from happening again, letting us know we could also consult an electrician if we wanted. Unfortunately, they didn’t have the needed part that day, so the repair had to wait until Monday. (No big deal, it’s a Sunday, so completely understandable)

By 9 AM Monday morning, we had already received a texted estimate, and by 11 AM the technician was at our house. Henry (Joe) was very friendly and professional and even took the time to talk to our dog, which was a nice touch. He had a surge protector available and was able to install it that same day, which we opted to do. He also noticed another issue with the system and was able to take care of that during the visit.

Overall, this was a great experience from start to finish. Everyone was very kind, knowledgeable, and upfront about pricing and options. We also appreciated the consideration they showed us on the final cost. Excellent service and highly recommended“

“Had some main water shutoff valves replaced as they were probably 60 years old. Dan and Brian did good work on some old pipes.

I, unfortunately, had to call them back out just to confirm all was good with a potential leak, that was either condensation or a drippy thread. They were understanding of the fear and set Mr. Dan back out as soon as they were able.

We also had a miscommunication on the pricing of things, but the office was understanding and worked with me to rectify the disagreement.“

“I was worried to call to have our 28 year old furnace inspected, but Matthew came out and performed a carbon monoxide inspection. It passed but based on the age of our system they recommended a new system. No pressure at all and Matthew priced out an 80% efficiency furnace, but then told us with a Consumer’s Energy rebate and tax rebate we could go with high efficiency furnace for small difference. Then helped process the rebates. No pressure, kept every timing promise and included duct cleaning and used drop clothes during installation so no mess at all. Recommend them absolutely. Don’t typically write reviews, but the way we were treated the entire process made me want to leave one.“

John and Paul were at my house the next morning and were able to get my furnace running and have my heat back on. Both technicians were very informative and professional. They informed me I also needed a new chimney liner and new furnace exhaust vents. Within a week they came back and finished the job.
