“Our hot water heater separated with a large bulge at the seam leading me to believe there was a potential bad outcome forthcoming. I turned off the water and gas to the heater and called McQuade. They were out within a day of me calling them. John just completed the job and suggested an electric anode rod to help extend life of the replacement tank which thankfully was still under warranty. He then took his time to explain the replacement process, how to hopefully extend the lifespan. Very happy a catastrophe was avoided.“

“Our furnace went out on a Sunday, and A Plus was able to squeeze us in, which we truly appreciated. Miron came out and was extremely kind and helpful, especially considering it was a Sunday. He actually helped us last year as well, and once again provided great service.

Our furnace appeared to have burned out due to recent power outages. Miron explained everything clearly and recommended a surge protector to prevent this from happening again, letting us know we could also consult an electrician if we wanted. Unfortunately, they didn’t have the needed part that day, so the repair had to wait until Monday. (No big deal, it’s a Sunday, so completely understandable)

By 9 AM Monday morning, we had already received a texted estimate, and by 11 AM the technician was at our house. Henry (Joe) was very friendly and professional and even took the time to talk to our dog, which was a nice touch. He had a surge protector available and was able to install it that same day, which we opted to do. He also noticed another issue with the system and was able to take care of that during the visit.

Overall, this was a great experience from start to finish. Everyone was very kind, knowledgeable, and upfront about pricing and options. We also appreciated the consideration they showed us on the final cost. Excellent service and highly recommended“

This week my air conditioner wasn’t working and I filled out their online form around 6pm and received a call in 15 minutes. “We too agree that Wiegand Heating and Cooling is the best. I was having an issue with my 11 yr old Lennox Plus 98 furnace. Other companies wanted to sell me a new system. Kim came out and diagnosed that it was the heat exchanger and agreed that purchasing a new furnace was not necessary. Kim informed me that the heat exchanger was covered under Lennox warranty and I would only have to pay for the labor.
