“I will not be returning. DO NOT BOOK HERE.

I purposely scheduled my appointment for 8:30 AM so I could leave no later than 1 PM. Unfortunately, I wasn’t finished until 4:40 PM....nearly eight hours later. What should have been a simple takedown, wash, and closure install turned into an all-day ordeal that completely derailed my Saturday.

Looking back, I wish I had read the lower-rated reviews before booking. It’s clear that closure installs are not this salon’s strength. The lowest rating was on that service. While I was there for the entire 8 hours, I was not offered water or food and by the time the bundles were being sewn in, the work felt rushed and lacking in care or precision. The most detail they did to the closure was wash and cut the lace a little bit. They didn't apply any color or make up so that it can match the scalp. I only asked for a little leave-out to cover the lace and weft, yet the result was one of the worst installs I’ve ever received. When they did the final reveal, I could literally see the lace lifting. it felt like a slap in the face after spending nearly eight hours there.

They offered 50% off, but it still feels like a complete waste of money and time since I now have to find another stylist to fix it. This is time I genuinely don't have because of work and graduate school. This experience left me extremely disappointed and questioning the consistency of their quality. It makes me wonder if the service provided to the Washington Commanders cheerleaders is held to a different standard than what regular clients receive. Either way, I won’t be returning. 1/27/2026: I do not appreciate this response, nor do I accept the apology or the offer of a future service credit as a resolution. Given that the salon has acknowledged the appointment should not have proceeded as scheduled, a full refund would have been the appropriate and fair outcome. Especially since I ended up taking out the hair and tracks completely.

In the owner's reply, they stated that they should have rescheduled me with my stylist rather than proceeding with the appointment. That confirms the salon was aware it could not properly deliver the service I booked. In that situation, the responsible decision would have been to reschedule or decline the appointment not move forward with a service that resulted in nearly eight hours of my time being wasted and a final product that did not meet professional standards.

Unfortunately, experiences like this are a reflection of a broader issue in today’s salon industry, where service quality and customer care are becoming increasingly inconsistent. My trust in the salon has been broken and I genuinely hope this review brings visibility to what happened so future clients can make informed decisions before booking.“
