Fantastic furnace repair and heating service. They respond fast, arrive on time, and have been helping with our heating system for a long time. They removed an old electric resistance furnace from the attic and installed a new gas furnace, and the whole furnace replacement process was smooth and well done. They also handle regular furnace service and maintenance for multiple gas furnaces, and they are always knowledgeable, friendly, and fairly priced. We usually get the same tech, Troy, which has been a big help because he knows our equipment well and understands the full heating setup. He is great at troubleshooting furnace issues, often figuring out the problem quickly just from our description, which shows strong hands-on experience in the field. Their work has helped keep our heating system running safely and efficiently through the colder months. Very dependable team for furnace repair, furnace installation, and ongoing heating maintenance. Highly recommended.

It is difficult to find a stylist of Cris' magnitude, not only in how wonderful she can be professionally speaking but in the connection between client-stylist. I had the pleasure of working with Hanna for the first time today. While I was making the haircut appointment, I shared my concern with Hanna: Being 8 months pregnant, I would very much like to avoid being exposed to the smell of chemicals. Hanna was beyond accommodating, to the extent that she opened the salon early and opened all the windows and doors just so that I could have peace of mind.

Elijah has been cutting hair in this location in Newton Center for almost 15 years. My haircuts and his service have always been excellent. He is uniquely open on Mondays and there is almost always metered street parking available. When you enter the building from Sumner Street just walk one flight down the stairs and you are there!! I have been coming here for couple of years, it’s a small place, but the technicians are all nice, I usually come here for my dip nails and Kevin does a great job. He is the only one who provides the dip nail service so finding an appointment might be challenging.
Kayla was so kind with me. I had a cold and she brought me water and a cough drop. The team was also wonderful with my daughter who wanted acrylics. Ruby was taking care of the woman next to me as well. I recommend!

I needed wedding nails, and David went out of his way to make multiple “trial nails” to test out which one I wanted. It was such a kind and thoughtful gesture that spoke volumes to how much Lony’s cares about their regular clients. Now, more than a year after my wedding, I still regularly go back every 3-4 weeks for a dip manicure. The atmosphere and care they provide is unmatched. I also love that I can usually call to make an appointment for that day. Lynne always looks after me and does a thorough job on my nails. I am always pleased with the result. I received reiki from Gina multiple times. I've had pain relief as well as helpful insights on important aspects of my life. She is very gifted, warm and in touch with you. She uses sound bowls and crystals to aid in your session and I always feel a sense of relief and understanding afterwards. I highly recommend.

Gallinelli Plumbing is the only service I would use. From day one they have been responsive, attentive and conscientious in their work. I used them for plumbing issues and to hook up a stove. I've also had him work on my mom's house and she was extremely impressed with them. Not sure where the negative review above came from. Does not sound like it's the same plumber from my experience. My 10 years experience!
We switched over to using Holmes about a year ago and we have been extremely happy with their service. We have a very old home in Newton and have an AC system that was retrofitted to try to cool this big old house. It has never worked perfectly, but in the past couple years, it’s been extremely problematic. The staff and service people at Holmes have been extremely helpful and have come out multiple times, more than I can count, in the past year to get this system working adequately. Kenny, in particular, is an amazing problem solver, good natured, and has stuck with us through all kinds of complicated issues until he figured out what needed to be done. We have also used their plumbing contractors who were great. We highly recommend Holmes.
Adario's did a solid, professional job replacing our broken down HVAC. After working hard for three days last week, including Saturday, they came on Sunday and finished up. Overall, they put in a great deal of work in a short period. It is so much more comfortable to be in our house now with the AC taking out the heat and humidity.

A huge vote of confidence for Mui Chiropractic is that their practitioners Dr. Mui and Dr. Kelly are trusted by a variety of professional athletes and teams, whom they often travel to see for onsite care. I'm just a desk jockey and recreational exerciser, but I appreciate the sports-oriented focus and expert treatment. Dr. Kelly and Dr. Mui use a variety of techniques that go way beyond traditional adjustments to the spine, including, cupping, dry needling, shockwave therapy, Graston, and other hands-on manipulation of soft tissue. They can help with musculoskeletal issues literally from head to toe.
I see both Dr. Kelly and Dr. Mui and find their approaches to be complementary. For example, Dr. Kelly helped me to diagnose that a tight lat is at the root of some of my discomfort, and he got me started with loosening it through cupping and manual techniques. Then Dr. Mui has been helping me release trigger points along the lat using dry needling. Both Dr. Mui and Dr. Kelly are great at dry needling by the way, but Dr. Mui is more comfortable doing it around the rib cage. As for cupping, that's a specialty of Dr. Kelly!
Dry needling is a particularly effective technique that many chiropractic and physical therapy offices do not offer. And at Mui Chiropractic, the cost of dry needling is just an additional ten dollar charge, so they have made it uniquely affordable.
I cannot recommend Dr. Grace enough. When it comes to back and neck adjustments, he has an incredibly steady, gentle hand and a precise technique that immediately puts you at ease.
What truly sets him apart, though, is his deep understanding of broader anatomy. He doesn't just adjust you and send you on your way; he genuinely understands how the whole body connects. While it is strictly a chiropractic visit, he has an amazing ability to pinpoint the root cause of nagging injuries. For instance, he’s been incredibly helpful in guiding me through targeted stretches for a frozen shoulder and other stubborn areas to complement his adjustments.

I highly recommend The Body Center Pilates Studio. It is a Woman and privately owned Studio, where Erin, the Owner and an Instructor, truly cares about her Clients, their satisfaction. She is purposeful in increasing her Clients strength with each class. I have been a studio member (8 classes/month) for over 8 months, and with Erins' help, I have increased my core strength 10 fold and counting.
Erin, is a superb, experienced Pilates instructor who makes every class both fun and challenging. She methodically talks her students through every position while explaining how each move strengthens, open and stretches each muscle group. I have also met alot of new Pilates friends and highly recommend this Studio.
Both my husband and I have been taking Pilates lessons with Mara for a while and Highly recommend her! She is super professional, have an in depth knowledge of Pilates and other movement type methods. She is also super helpful in situations of specific injuries/sensitivities. Mara is also fun and engaging in her teaching style, being able to pay individual attention even when working in groups.
I saw Jo today for the first time and it was truly magical. I am a Physical Therapist and my whole upper back and neck was pretty locked up from my busy week, and Jo worked her wonders and I left feeling like I could move and breathe again! I will be back and I will be referring lots of patients her way! The space is also super cute and clean!

The only downside is that the rooms are often quite cold, which takes away from the experience a bit, I’ve even left feeling under the weather most of the times.

I was having so much stress tension in my jaw, as well as extreme dry mouth from it, and she worked my jaw and cranium so well (my head was so sore the next day but in a good way, and I desperately NEEDED it!).
