I started going to Newton Dental Associates in 2020 during the pandemic. I had a dental emergency and my family dentist wouldn't return my call. Dr. Berik responded right away and had me come in that day. Personally she is an awesome person, super down to earth and extremely caring. The care she has for her patients is readily evident by the personal attention she provides. Professionally, she is incredibly knowledgeable and stays on top of her field with new developments as is readily evident just by chatting with her. I've been a patient at Newton Dental for over 35 years. I always get great care there. I had Rose as a hygienist this time and she was great! Friendly, knowledgable, and very capable!
Newton Dental Associates is a world-class, top-credentialed dental and ortho practice and I highly recommend them for the quality and expertise of their providers' service delivery. It is also a very expensive and commercialistic practice and unless you remember to ask in advance, you may be surprised by charges for non-covered items or services (e.g., fluoride coatings) provided without advance notice. While it makes sense that a high-quality provider would be high-cost, they should still work on providing better awareness of fees in advance.
