The way my doctor asked me to choose between different powered glasses by even comparing them side my side in same view using the machine was really helpful, and made it very easy to choose between them, by not even switching the different power glasses (in which i would have to remember the last view) or blinking my eyes. Never seen any other place doing this. The guy who helped me select my frame was also helpful and spent time with me patiently to look over frames online and select the best one for me.“

“I had purchased a beautiful Zegna frame online from SmartBuyGlasses and had them fulfill a prescription from my ophthalmologist's office. I turned out that the online measurements were off and my PD was incorrect and the glasses sent were difficult to wear. Since SmartBuys' solution was to pick new frames, I searched for a local optician who would be willing to cut new lenses for them. I found Drizik and traveled into speak with Umberto. He discovered the incorrect PD, verified the prescription and was able to recut the lenses. I was so happy, that I had him cut computer version for me of the prescription. Both pairs are a perfect fit and very comfortable to wear. Stellar service from him and the lab. Rest assured I now know where to go in the future. You can't go wrong at this shop.“

“Winthrop Eye Center is where its at! I got my eyes checked today, and the whole team was incredible! The last time I got my eyes checked was 5 years ago at another office, and I had such a horrible experience I refused to go back until it was absolutely necessary. My glasses have been crooked for over a year, and my vision recently declined, so I decided to make an appointment at WEC based off a friends recommendation - and they did not disappoint! Dr. Gerow was so nice and helpful, and really made sure I got the right prescription I needed. I was upset to change frames since I've had my old pair for 5+ years now, and the WHOLE office helped me choose the right frame to take home! Also, their lovely office dog Becker was so sweet! My glasses were ready within an hour to pickup, and they even sent me home with a hand written card signed by the whole office. I HIGHLY recommend checking out Winthrop Eye Center.“

“I had to bring my 90-year-old mother-in-law in for an annual check-up. She is wheelchair bound. The services received by Dr. McAlear AND the front desk staff were amazing. The first thing I noticed ... the door was already open before we got to it to help me roll her in, and the wait was very short. Dr. McAlear came out first to talk to us briefly about what would be most comfortable for my MIL during the exam. She stayed in her transport chair throughout, so he had to actually move this exam chair in the room to make room for her transport chair. His exam was thorough, and he spoke clearly and slowly so my MIL could understand him. She felt very respected. They all did everything they could to make it a positive experience for both her and me. I would definitely recommend him!!“
