The experiences with other doctors and at other eye care businesses has been embarrassingly painful. One person actually spoke to a co-worker, in front of me and not to me, that I would not be allowed to keep the contacts already in my eyes until I paid a fee that was significantly higher than what was quoted beforehand. Other places quote you a varying rate fee. Who has enough money to allow for what fee is chosen and why? I don't, it's unethical.
At East Coast Optometry, I was given a fee that they actually stood by and, most importantly, I was treated with respect and dignity.
