My brother discovered Dr. Pena and now the entire family has had an eye exam. Dr. Pena is unassuming, logical, methodical, kind, and communicates well. My exam was a relaxy-taxi experience and I have answers now for things I didn’t understand about my eyesight before. I’ll be wearing glasses for the first time in 25 years and I feel confident that my prescription will work out. Additionally, the office is run by Brian, who has spent a lot of time with everyone in my family to help us select frames. Brian is great at his craft. I had a very thorough eye exam with Dr. Pena. He's one of the most caring, patient, and personable doctors I've ever met! The store staff was also incredibly helpful--for example, Brian explained all my lens options in lots of detail. East Coast Optometry is without a doubt a Cambridge gem.
10/10. Location is easy - very close to the red line. Doctor was friendly and extremely informative. He explained everything as we went along (routine exam) and checked in throughout to see if I had questions. Also really appreciated how he knew the cost of imaging with my insurance! Very comfortable experience. Thank you!
