Where do I begin. First let me just say that this shot, the Stella Dual Sympathetic Reset, is a game changer! I first read about it in early 2021 and thought it could help me with my anxiety. It did SO MUCH MORE than that. It saved my life. The affects were immediate with a calmness washing over me within mins of the injection. My mind was calm, the racing thoughts and anxiety was gone and I felt so much better. Then tragedy struck. 3 weeks after receiving the shot, I lost my 15 year old son to suicide. It was devastating. In a way that makes you want to die yourself. Only, I didn’t die or hurt myself in anyway. It has given me my life back and my mental health back. I highly reccomend it for anyone struggling. It’s worth it not having to live in a body/mind that is constantly trying to sabotage you. I originally planned to go to another tailor nearby with good reviews, but no one showed up when they opened. Thankfully, I found this place down the street, called, and they took me in right away.
The woman there was so sweet and welcoming. I told her I thought I was getting engaged, and she was genuinely so happy for me. She altered my dress perfectly and in time for such an important moment in my life.
It is cash only, but 100% worth it. I highly recommend this place!

Daryl is great with curly hair, which is exceptionally difficult to find even in high-end salons. The prices are also way better than your typical salon. The interior is definitely no frills, but the cut is well worth it!

First time visit to Flo's, hadn't been for a mani pedi for quite some time and it was a refreshing change of pace from previous experiences. It was relaxing and quiet, Flo is very personable, easy to talk to and did a great job on both my feet and hands. Polish on my toes still going strong and just had some chips start after almost two weeks on my hands. Lovely place and will go there next time I need a mani/pedi!

tina was very nice and extremely kind. the only issue is the communication barrier. before they started my services i asked if they accepted apple pay and the gentleman said yes and sat me down and started my pedicure. after he was done, something told me to ask again however i asked tina who said only cash or zelle which put me in a bind as i was planning on using my credit card. i told her i would only be getting my toes done then and she insisted that i zelle her the remainder of what was owed when i had the cash which would be in a few days. i believe in karma so i will fully be sending the remainder! however, i had asked for french tips on my manicure with a pink base and she did a clear top coat. by the time i noticed it was already too late and i felt so bad for even saying something. so now my nails look extremely odd and almost raggedy with my natural nail on french tips. other than the miscommunications i would still recommend this salon to anyone just be clear about what you’re asking/requesting.

I really enjoyed my deep tissue massage the therapist did an excellent job. The only drawback was that the rooms should be in a more quieter area where you don’t have to hear anything or anyone while trying to enjoy the massage. I would still recommend though because the massage was very effective and pleasant.

Best place to get eyebrows shaped with experienced staff. Shailu has been doing an amazing job for many many years now. Haircuts were also satisfying and exactly how I wanted every time. They have all other services too, at reasonable prices. The only concern is hygiene as they tend to reuse many of the stuff like cotton balls, wax strips, over and over instead of throwing after each use for safe hygiene.

This is the second time this year we have had them out. And once again they did a fabulous job! Earlier this year we had our water heater replaced and we were very impressed with their level of professionalism and the high quality of work they did. It's nice to see a company that hires professionals that make sure the job is done perfectly before they leave! Today's repair was a clogged bathtub - and it was fixed in no time and done right! I would highly recommend them to anyone and everyone! And they left our home as clean as when they arrived. It's rare to find a company that cleans up after themselves as well as Arco does.
I had my sump pump replaced same day service. I had silicone around my sump pump basin cover because of the radon system I had put into my home. Tom did a nice job with the sump pump replacement and re-applied silicone around the base of the basin cover to seal it.

I've had experience in the past with carpet cleaners. I also remember once urgently needing a cleaning, however at that time they weren't immediately available. I regret not waiting then because I feel as though I had gotten ripped off by a different company. This time I was not going to make the same mistake. I recently had them come in and clean out my carpets and they did an absolutely amazing job. They were quick to respond. What I liked the best with them is the upfront pricing. It was exactly as they had suggested. With other companies you start at one price, and you will end up far removed by the time the job is done. Not with AVS. What you see is what you get!!

I am very happy with the treatments I received from Dunne Chiropractic. I get a recurring stiff neck and decided to seek treatment here based on the many good reviews. I was able to schedule a first appointment within just a couple of days of calling. I was relieved that before they did anything they took xrays of my neck, and reviewed them right there at the first appointment. We then plotted a course of treatment that I was comfortable with, and they even gave me home exercises to augment what I did at the office. (I received mostly ultrasound and the IFC, with just a small amount of gentle stretching.) I had relief after the very first appointment, and my pain is completely gone after just 3 visits. They worked with my insurance, too. I would highly recommend them, and should the need arise, I will certainly go back.

Dr. Darrell helped me tremendously with my lower back and neck pain from work overuse. After, only one of his treatments I felt relief. It is a huge bonus that Dr. Darrell has a massage therapy background. He helps to relax my muscles right before adjustments.

I have been here with 2 cats, my sister/brother in law’s very old and very sick cat who they treated extremely well. I saw this first hand when I was cat sitting and he needed to take the cat in. They helped him (and his “brother”) live a long comfortable life even after they got ill - and my SIL said they were gentle and wonderful when it was time to put them down.
When I moved to the Downers Grove area I switched my vet care for my cat to Abbeywood. My cat has some serious chronic conditions and developed a new one more recently. Both Drs. Ubatuba and Johnston were fine with my not wanting to spend a lot of time and money to intensively treat the intestinal cancer we suspected. Instead, he gets care to prevent bladder stones, medicine for his thyroid, and added a steroid for his suspected intestinal cancer - reduced the inflammation, increased his comfort and has given him another happy year so far (they did not force me into expensive tests, surgery or chemo since he’s an old cat). They would have done the tests if I had wanted to know definitively what was causing my cat’s misery - and treated if we wanted to do that.
Abbeywood’s team is really attuned to what you need and as far as I can tell, technically great (getting blood and urine samples from my cat has never been easy).

Our pup, Burnham (famed armpit smelling dog) passed away, suddenly late Christmas Day 2023 at 12 1/2 years old. He had Dr. Muehrke when he was a pup for few years and then Dr. Vidt. Later, he had his last 5+years with Dr. McCallian. All doctors are incredible, but Dr. McCallian was outstanding. Our new pup, Cooper (rescued from Kentucky with twelve siblings) we had planned to see Dr. McCallian but he was on maternity leave with his wife, so we saw Dr. Kayson--another fabulous experience. He was great with Cooper and made him feel very comfortable. He explained all questions we had plus provided us with a plethora of information (haven't had a pup in 12 1/2 years) --which was very helpful, thus far. We have never had a bad experience with anyone--including the front desk and techs. I highly recommend them to everyone! Thanks for continuing excellent care for our pups over almost 14 years. You are all much appreciated always.

My first experience with Bagi for a 90 minute deep tissue massage. I was completely unaware of the amount of knots and tightness in my body. The massage had its painful parts but the warmth and release felt with the therapy is worth it. I did go home with some soreness this being my first visit, but it was well indicated. Staying hydrated pre and post service is important. I recommend Bagi and Pacific Clinical Massage for their utmost professionalism and kind service.

All of the staff from Dr Smith, PA Sondra, to the nurses at the center were exceptional. Dr Smith spent the time explaining the procedure (knee replacement) clearly and knowledgeably with plenty of time for questions. The PA Sondra did an amazing job getting me prepared and discussing aftercare. The anesthesiologist was also good explaining what he was doing and why. The receiving nurse Heather was very thorough, friendly and clearly knowledgeable about the procedure. The next nurse Kana or Cana helped a lot in going over what would happen to put me at ease. The PT person Erika was even more than exemplary. Her knowledge, professionalism, and ability to work with me to get up walking was off the charts. One of the best PT people I’ve ever worked with. The entire Duly experience was the best outpatient surgery I’ve ever had- light years away from my last knee replacement. Truly outstanding.
