This place was more than AWESOME we were in southwest FL for a week and decided to check this place out! Super friendly staff and a beyond amazing owner! Madison is the best! I first went to her after a hair stylist took 5 inches off my hair just cutting straight across, leaving my hair poofy at the bottom, sticking out like a triangle. Madison knew immediately what to do! She layered, tapered, thinned, and created a shapely cut (I received twelve compliments from colleagues… all before 9:00 am!!) Each time I go in, she asks me what I want, but I give her license because I trust her to do the most flattering style and color. What I love most… is Madison! She’s so kind, funny, interesting, thoughtful, and so easy to talk to; I’m glad I found my home!

Vee was the first barber that I found in Venice after my parents moved here in 2020 and she expertly cut all of my Covid hair off.
Since then, I’ve been returning to get haircuts whenever I’m in town, because she does such a great job on my hair. Vee is always highly professional, polite, and despite seeing her only once or twice a year, always remembers exactly what I want.

Angel nails has done mine, my mothers, and now my daughters nails and done a fantastic job. We are always able to get right in and there is never a wait. Tina has done my acrylic fills and she is very fast. I am always happy with the services we receive. All interactions with all staff have been so pleasant and professional. I entrusted them to give my daughter her first full set and they are still holding strong and look beautiful at almost 2 weeks (and you know how rough kids are on their hands lol) Will always recommend this salon. I was pleased with Raphael’s thorough explanations of what I would be able to achieve with removing a fair amount of length and adding layers. Highly recommend for piercings! Clean shop, very quiet & calm, with a separate room for piercings. ATM onsite if you don’t have cash (cash only) but they also take payment apps. Piercer was professional, and piercing was quick and painless. They use titanium jewelry too! Will come back to this shop for my next one.

We have used Third Coast & Chris multiple times as was reccomended by our neighbors, he saved us with an emergency call when we were on a cruise once and has replaced bothwater heaters in our house, always overly fair with his pricing & very technically knowledgeable and competent, this day and age, it's hard to get any plumber to your house.Especially one as good as chris, i highly reccomend Third Coast

I have not actually hired Larry's Plumbing because he is not a thief. He recommended by the friend of a friend who was pleased with his work. But when I called him he gave me alternatives to paying plumbers fees. Instead of playing me along and making the matter worse he explained what my problem was and how I might be able to fix it myself.

The engineering competence, professionalism, transparency and integrity of the entire Godfrey staff and its contractors gave us confidence throughout this major undertaking for us and our home.At the beginning of our complete interior home renovation, Ed, Don and staff presented us with a comprehensive proposal, including a breakdown of all costs and a detailed set of 23 drawings that Don kept updated on a regular basis and when a change order was needed or requested by us. Our renovation lasted 4 months and included replacing 2,000+ sq ft of flooring, replacing our kitchen and two full bathrooms, upgrading our electrical, lighting, and plumbing systems, and a complete interior re-painting, along with other upgrades.While we were away during the renovation, Don and our project manager, Anthony, kept in virtually daily contact by text, email and phone. Godfrey also uses an easily navigable web site with complete job, management, financial and contract information. Daily or several times weekly, the web site was updated with a description of the day’s/week’s work with photographs and a description, and a text reminder was sent to us. I have had KRISEN PEST CONTROL For four years now, they are very, very Reputable. Any problem you have you call them and they come the next day to fix your problem. I have a contract that I pay every three months but if anything happens during the three months they come back to service you without any charge. The service techs Are very clean they cover their shoes with booties and never leave a mess and are very kind and courteous! Initially, I was looking on Angie’s list for recommended lawn teams in my area for a home we just purchased with nothing g but weeds and sand. As always, many choices and many various and mixed reviews.
I had four different businesses reach out and come give an estimate. Victor and his team were slightly higher priced than the number two team I was looking at. However, I saw some of the work they had on their site, and decided to have them give an estimate. Speaking with the sales guy and Victor, I decided to go forward.
I needed a full irrigation system installed along with sod, plants, and curbing. I shared my design with them and they were confident they could do so.
I wasn’t able to be here when the curbing went in and Victor called to discuss options and colors- the communication was much appreciated.
The job was completed in less than a week. Victor was on site most days and at the end of the job to discuss the care and importance of watering and holding off on mowing to allow the roots to take. There were some minor hiccups but we talked about them and agreed to let it be. The estimate forgot to discuss the need for an exterior outlet. It was going to cost X and I thought. that’s too high and Victor attempted to make the price reasonable. We decided to do it ourselves and temporarily used an extension cord. All good and Victor did not try to argue or push, just reminded me the warranty could be affected if anything happened to the system. Four days later, we put the electric box in.
A cut above the rest came out on a regular basis, as promised to fertilize the grass and plant beds. Our 90 day warranty is up and Victor came by one last time to check everything out. I am very pleased with my yard and enjoy it everyday! I would highly recommend A Cut Above the Best!

Joe Mantkowski, who led the project, was very responsive to all of our requests and came up with a plan that exceeded our expectations. Additionally Joe responded to our questions quickly, and resolved issues we encountered. After a cold freeze damaged some of our plants, Joe was quick to offer replacements. Customer satisfaction was clearly his goal.
The final project added tremendously to the appeal of our home. Thank you Joe.

Justin removed two large pine trees in our backyard and did a terrific job. They were in a tight spot and he had to climb the trees and carefully drop the pieces in the backyard without hitting any other plants. $2400 for 5 hours for a difficult job. Timely and very courteous. Highly recommend!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Paradise Lawn and Tree Service Inc did an outstanding job on our property! Their work was top-notch and they completed everything incredibly fast. They put a mulch bed around the exterior of the house. The property looks absolutely amazing now—clean, polished, and better than we imagined. They even took down an old rope swing that was tied 30 feet up in the air, which was no easy task, and handled it safely and efficiently. Super professional, hardworking, and clearly experienced. Highly recommend Paradise Lawn and Tree Service Inc if you want excellent results and quick turnaround!

I don't have dental insurance and it was hard to find a provider to get my teeth cleaned without spending $400.00+ dollars, especially since I don't have any issues with my teeth. Dr. Lackey's office was a bit of a drive for me but the staff and service were exceptional. I also felt they didn't try to upsell me into getting additional services that were not necessary. I highly recommend this practice.

I went to the Dentist for a cleaning. The cleaning was excellent. Then I mentioned that a veneer that was completed several months ago was bothering me and they offered to redo and replace it free of charge. The Dentist, dental assistants and all the other staff are the best. They are professional, courteous and make the patient feel like a great person. Best dentist that I have ever had after 70 years. Advanced Dental Care of Englewood has had a temporary location change due to Hurricane Milton. This office change from Englewood to Sarasota is a three hour round trip traffic commute for the current (Manasota Key) Englewood patients. In spite of that, the receptionist Dawn is very pleasant, and Dr. Davis is an excellent dentist. My husband and I have had Mindy and Alison as hygienists for several years and are very pleased with both. We are looking forward to them settling into an office closer to their old Englewood location.

Everyone in the office is friendly and efficient. The front desk checked me in quickly, my wait was minimal. Heather and her assistant are professional and friendly. Heather explained everything that was going to be done and the care afterwards was explained as well. A huge shout out to the front desk (my apology as I cannot remember her name) as this was an unscheduled visit for me and the front desk was able to schedule me on the same day that I called.
Dr Greco and his entire staff are highly professional, efficient, compassionate and knowledgeable in their Mohs expertise and technique. Last year ‘a procedure’s scars are barely noticeable and the procedure I had done just yesterday is flawless and I can barely notice my stitches. . Truly a wonderful animal hospital: transparent, caring, and polite! They helped with my daughter’s young cat who had just given birth to kittens a few days ago. I rushed in holding the mother cat as she was giving birth, with the first kitten literally landing in my hand. The staff quickly took her, placed her in a safe cage with bedding, and reassured me: “She’s doing great, just take her back home, and if there are any complications, come back.” They didn’t charge me for the visit and even let us keep the cage with bedding. Such kindness and compassion mean so much, thank you!

What kind and wonderful people! That's Dr. Dawn and her staff. I was visiting the area when my elderly Great Dane became unexpectedly sick. Dr. Dawn didn't hesitate to do everything possible to save her when other vets who opened earlier that morning refused to see her. I am grateful I found her.
Such a caring practice. My 20 year old cat needed to cross over the Rainbow bridge. It was hard for sure but the staff was so supportive and gave me time to say goodbye. Dr B was wonderful.

I adopted a cat from St. Francis Rescue and they use this vet. I thought I would use them as well since they are familiar with the cat ànd she was already under their care. So far I've only gotten her meds once a month and the staff has been friendly and helpful.
We had been taking our Sophia to another local groomer and we just weren't pleased. After taking her to Poobears...We were so delighted you can really see the difference when the groomer knows what they are doing....She looks great and she was happy leaving, after her first grooming.. Vanessa is the best. My Shitzu , Miss Boujie is a diva and she loves Vanessa, great grooming every single time. I had another Shitzu, Miss Prudence, she is no longer with us. And Vanessa was so good to her, she was ill for several months, Miss Prudence, and Vanessa was so loving and caring to her. And I have a chiuaua, Miss Raider, whom doesn't like me doing her nails. So I took her to Vanessa, I watched her trim Miss Raiders nails. Oh my goodness, Vanessa just woooed her. She was so good for her. Vanessa Def is loved by her clients and her fur babies. Great job everytime.

I knew I'd found a gold mine when Cathi said they don't use crates! It just gets better from there. My pup's anxiety over face trimming is 10+ even on medication. Cathi had me bring her back again, just for face. And she refused additional payment, saying they were unable to finish the first time. Folks, that's the epitome of professionalism, integrity and patience. I'm certainly going to support her business. And absolutely feel safe leaving my fur baby in her care.
Wonderful gym and all the instructors are fabulous. Best decision I’ve made since moving to Venice. I’m a regular at Sherri’s Barre class and the class is fun and everyone is so friendly. I also love the Pilates and Yoga classes and I find the instruction and experience has helped me a great deal over the last few years with my fitness journey. The gym feels like a second home to me. Annie, my therapist was simply top rate. Don't let the location fool you but I was literaly scheduling my next session 2 weeks out while I still was on the table. Can't wait till then.
