All of the practitioners are highly skilled and very caring, and they have a wide skill set no matter what your needs. They give individual attention to each patient with an emphasis on manual therapy and personalized rehab. The space is well laid out, friendly and easily accessible, and parking is easy. The front desk is very helpful and always communicates well. I recommend them to all my Pilates students and friends.“

4001 Brandywine St NW #301, Washington“Maddie is a super-pro; her knowledge of the human body and how to support my recovery from ankle surgery has really changed my mind about the value of physical therapy. In particular, she provides clear, helpful exercises that challenge my mobility without over-extending my ankle. I feel more confident in a full recovery with Maddie on my case. She is also kind and empathetic. The whole team is friendly and professional. Highly recommend.“

1101 Connecticut Ave NW, Suite 450 Office 405, Washington“I started seeing Trupti because of persistent calf, back, and hip flexor issues that were significantly limiting daily life. I was struggling with regular walks to and from work and found I couldn't enjoy longer hikes around the city without pain.
What I appreciated most was how carefully she built up my core strength to avoid further injury. She was incredibly adaptive—when I experienced a setback with neck pain early on, she shifted gears immediately to address it without stalling my overall progress. Through a combination of manual massage, dry needling, and progressive strengthening routines, she has helped me establish a much stronger foundation for continuing an active lifestyle.
I highly recommend Trupti for anyone looking for a physical therapist who is highly skilled, responsive to individual needs, and focused on getting you back to your daily routine.“

1725 I St NW 3rd floor, Washington“I cannot recommend Dr. D highly enough!!
I found her after a frustrating few months of misdiagnoses and snowballing minor injuries, during which most of the medical professionals I met basically advised me to take NSAIDs and wear more supportive shoes.
Danelle took a totally different approach. She took my pain seriously and immediately worked to alleviate it using a variety of (very cool) techniques. She deeply understands the mechanics of the body and was able to explain to me in a way that made sense how I had become so injury-prone. The strengthening exercises she set me were manageable, and I appreciated that we didn’t spend a ton of time in session doing the same exercises I was doing on my own.
Maybe most importantly, she was realistic and optimistic about my recovery. I genuinely think the biggest difference in my return to an active lifestyle was someone as smart and experienced as Danelle explaining to me how I’d get there. I really cannot thank her enough!
If you were a competitive dancer in your younger years and suspect that training might have thrown your body mechanics off a bit, I really recommend visiting Dr. D - even if you aren’t currently recovering from an injury. If you have a sports injury of ANY kind, I highly recommend visiting Dr. D.“

925 Half St SE, Washington“I had the privilege of working with the incredible physical therapy team at MedSTAR Health Physical Therapy at Navy Yard during my Achilles rehab, and I cannot recommend them highly enough. From day one, they exhibited unparalleled professionalism, expertise, and genuine care. The team tailored a rehab program that was not only effective but also motivating, keeping me engaged throughout the process.
Their attention to detail in assessing my progress and adjusting my exercises accordingly made all the difference in my recovery. They didn’t just treat my injury—they empowered me with knowledge about proper technique, mobility, and long-term injury prevention.
Beyond the technical excellence, the atmosphere they created was welcoming and positive. Every session felt like a step toward regaining not just my physical strength but also my confidence. Thanks to their guidance, I’m well on my way to full recovery and stronger than ever.
If you’re looking for a physical therapy team that’s knowledgeable, compassionate, and results-driven, MedSTAR Health Physical Therapy at Navy Yard should be your top choice. They truly go above and beyond for their patients.“

1712 Eye St, NW Basement Level # 110, Washington“This is one of if not the best physical therapy establishment I've used in the DMV. Jon and his team are skilled at and compassionate about their work. I worked with Jon and Juhi and can say that they are some of the best you can get in DC. Their knowledge, techniques, and dedication to healing are remarkable. Both worked on my knee injury and I can say that it is much better than it's been in years, considering I saw other therapists prior to seeing them. I highly recommend CNMR for all your movement disorders and disabilities, to improve or restore the function and quality of your life.“

Most importantly, she does hands on work (including dry needling, cupping and other things) which helps you get immediate relief, while also accompanying this with an excersie plan. You'll get a full hour of 100% attention to you and only you. Highly recommend Pure Sports and Kat!“

2604 Connecticut Ave NW, Washington“Anne is amazing! I don’t even know where to start. I was in conversation with two other Rolphing therapists before going here, and both were pushing me toward a 10 series without having met me. Anne said, “Why don’t you come in and we’ll see what you need.” She fixed me right up in one session! Pain that I’d been dealing with for years was gone, and my range of motion noticeably increased. My favorite part is when she’ll do something like massage my leg, and I feel relaxation in my shoulders… So cool! The entire body is connected and she’s constantly educating herself on various forms of therapy so you can really trust her advice. I only go to her when I irritate something, and I love learning new things about my body in each session. Whether you enter massage or movement therapy, Anne is definitely the way to go! Also, she loves a challenge and is willing to work on bodybuilders! If you need accommodations for anything, just communicate with her and trust me she’ll work with you.“

“I’ve been a client at Thesis for almost a year. I was looking for more structure in my work outs and also nutritional guidance. Thesis exceeded my expectations! I’m stronger and healthier than I’ve ever been and I know I wouldn’t have been able to achieve this on my own.
Everyone is super friendly and I’ve enjoyed getting to know the trainers and clients. Special shout out to my trainer, Tan! He is an exceptional trainer but also good friend now. A highlight of my week is spending a couple mornings with him. Thanks for helping me reach my goals and supporting me every step of the way!“
