“I had my first appointment at the Trumbull location with Dr. Tuohy. First of all, when I originally called to schedule an appointment I was thinking it was going to take weeks or months to be seen. Much to my surprise the receptionist said they had an opening that very same day! I was so relieved and extremely thankful. The front desk staff were super nice and very helpful. I didn’t catch the nurse’s name who did my EKG, but she was also super sweet and also helped to ease my anxiety. Dr. Tuohy was amazing! I was extremely nervous and anxious and he was making me laugh and really put me at ease. I look forward to seeing him again at my follow up appointment as well as the other staff. Highly recommend this practice!“

I also had Softwave therapy treatments because I had arthritic pain in my left knee. After six treatments, I find it much easier to climb stairs and overall use of my leg.“

“I have had four surgeries over the last two years at this surgical center and the level of care is absolutely outstanding!! Every single time I was always cared for by staff who wanted to make sure I was comfortable and relaxed and that I was pain free when waking up from surgery. The surgical team is phenomenal. They are so reassuring and make sure that you are calm as you are headed into surgery. And I have to give an extra huge shout out to Anesthesia. I am someone who usually has alot of nausea coming out of surgery and they took it as a personal mission to not let that happen and literally tweaked my anesthesia plan each time and the last two surgeries I came out completely nausea free, I couldn't believe it and am so thankful. This surgical center is truly the very best one I have been to and having been multiple times and having the same experience each time proves that they are a well oiled machine when it comes to making sure people have the very best care and know that they are cared for by all the staff! Back to Health in Branford has an amazing staff including Tina who is always flexible fitting me in when I can drive and Dr Russo who is personable, professional, and someone who genuinely cares for his patients. It’s been my home away from home. I highly recommend for back, neck injuries, ear and head trauma, and the Epley maneuver for vertigo!“

“This is the first review I have ever left for a blood draw. I usually go to Quest for convenience but at times experienced multiple pokes from inexperienced technicians. Sometimes the right person would do a good job. Today on the advice of my doctor in the same building I tried Yale blood draw. The staff were excellent and the young lady that took my blood did a great job. Very easy no mark left at all and very good with my questions. I asked her name it was Evelyn. Highly recommend this office!“

“Highly recommended. I was lucky to get a same day appointment. The office receptionist was very friendly and helpful. The doctor was great. Rare to see a doctor that is not in a large group. He showed interest on what I had to say. Was concerned and wanted to help in solving my issues. He was not rushed like the large groups. Office was very clean and modern. Easy to get to.
