Now that I have more time, I'm so glad I was able to locate her salon and make an appointment. Kim is a great with hair, and she's a good person. She examines your hair to determine the best products to use. She also recommends how to take care of your hair between appointments. I highly recommend Kim for anyone experiencing hair issues.

First time there today. Got a wash and blow dry just to check the place out. I’ve recently gone to another salon where the hairdressers talked to each other, but ignored you. Not very friendly. This place is wonderful! Everyone is so friendly. Very nice atmosphere, and I loved what Teddi did with my hair. Going back in 4 weeks for color, cut and wash and dry. I highly recommend.
I am writing to tell folks about Shear Brilliance Institute. I love this school and salon. I came to Angela (the owner) after going through hair stylist after hair stylist. I came to her after I took out my African braids. I made the mistake by looking on social media of what to do with hair after taking out braids. Unfortunately my hair locked and tangled my natural hair. I came to Angela and she untangled my hair which took her like 2 hours. She was very patient and kind as well as reassuring!! She completed my silk press and boy I was a happy camper!! She didn’t charge me for unlocking or detangling my hair and most salons would!! That was 10 months ago!! The prices are great and they do an awesome job!! I thank God for Angela and for my friend for recommending her!!

Well the first time I walked in to Sal's even the customers "Hello Cousin" they were talking to me! Off to a good start then I heard Ed turn off the electric clippers and saw him spend 15 min styling and cutting hair with scissors, imagine that ? That was it for me, along with a lot of, yes Sir, no problem sir, all sharp again! With Lucky Tiger and Clubman Hair Tonic. Some Frank Sinatra and Classic Rock not to mention Service members and first responders coming and going. Well it looks like I'll be driving from Hamden to say "Hello Cousin" for some years to come.

Have you ever gotten in the barber's chair and when it was all said and done, you're a totally different person? I mean a cosmetic process that makes you feel differently inside??? A client can tell so much about a barber and the cut within the first minute of the cut. There's something about the barber's initial usage of the clippers that tells you everything you need to know about the cut. There's a lot that goes into this experience. The ambiance of the barbershop is crucial. A professional environment is so much better than one that doesn't prioritize looking, sounding, and being professional. Do the children have to listen to explicit lyrics in the songs played or what's displayed on tv? Do the barbers maintain a code of respect with what and how they communicate - or is everyone dropping F bombs every minute? I'm getting older. Peace matters. Professionalism matters. Excellence matters. Timeliness matters. Where I spend my money matters. If I am paying $50+ for each cut, I should get more than a nice haircut, I should get an entire quality experience!! Shout-out to Eddie Rosado Jose Crespo and the crew at New Heights Barbershop in Orange, CT. Every person is greeted upon walking in the door - not like "who you here for?" but an actual customer service greeting. I was impressed. Although I have never been a client of this shop, I was greeted with "Hey Furlow, what's good man - how have you been?" Barbers stopped what they were doing to dap me up. It was "OD" excellent and professional....AND THEY CAN CUT???? Hands down, this is wild and I haven't experienced this level of overwhelming care in a while. Are you looking for a barber?? Salon is SO CLEAN!!! I had a reoccurring membership and I totally forgot to cancel. I didn’t come for months and the main office credited me back more than half of my missed time! I tried this at my gym a few years ago and they told me I was SOL, wouldn’t credit me back anything and slapped me with a late fee because my most recent billing didn’t go through. Great customer service and awesome cleanliness at Tommys!

I met Dawn today for the first time, and she did such an amazing job on my nails! One of my nails chipped on the side, I don’t wear acrylic, just my own natural nail, and the results are so satisfying. I definitely will be going back!

Santiago and his team is amazing! It took them only 2-3 hours to restore my room for moving out. This saved me enough time to meet one more friend before I leave the city. Of course, the quality is perfect that I did not receive any charges from my landlord. The communications was efficient too. Santiago was also to accommodate my time for the moving company which made everything smooth.

From the start, Tony was incredibly responsive over phone and text. He answered all my questions promptly, professionally, and thoroughly. What stood out most was his honesty and integrity compared to other flooring companies I spoke with. Rather than steering me to a particular service or rushing me, Tony took the time to explain the pros and cons of different flooring options, helping me choose what would actually work best for my home and budget.
In just a few days, Tony and his team had fully transformed my stairs and upper floor. The quality of their work cannot be understated. They removed our carpet down to every staple and nail. Even though hardwood underneath was beat up with paint stains, scratches, burns and burns from a previous owner, they made it look brand new. They also did the work of moving my furniture and heavy items out and back into the room.
I couldn’t be happier with the results and feel so much better now that the carpet is gone (which turned out to be the source of my allergies). I plan to have them back to refinish the rest of my floors. Highly recommend.

Had them look at doing some repair work for some termite damage i was certain we would need. They advised we bring in a structural engineer to assess the damage. when the report came back that repairs were not required, David was very honest and did not give us the usual sales pitch. we did not end up needing the work, but it was still a great experience and i will be reaching out on my next project.
Baybrook Remodeler's just completed a third project on my house. I have used them since 2007 when a kitchen addition, siding and roofing and electrical upgrade was done. Second project in 2008 was various items in my house. This current project entailed demolish old deck, install beautiful patio and new Gazebo and add a mudroom onto the kitchen for my dog. Each project came out fantastic! The workers are professional with their trades and in working with them on a daily basis. Ken Carney consistently excels in managing each project. I have complete trust in him. I would not use any other company for work on my house.

I had a large overgrown hedge about 50 feet long with 30 foot or so of tree saplings. Eddie and his crew did a great job! removing the saplings and squaring up the hedge nicely. Fast, clean and at a reasonable price! I would highly recommend.
You don’t need to go to Harvard or Yale to know that Ivy League Landscaping is the best. They built us a beautiful patio and fire pit that completely transformed our backyard. The crew was professional, detail-oriented, and easy to work with from start to finish. Justin stopped by regularly to answer questions and talk us through what was happening.

I called Family Tree Service on Wednesday and left a message seeking firewood. Rich got back to me that same day. The next morning I had a half cord of firewood in my driveway. As unremarkable as that should be, the reality is that I had called other places for firewood and still have not heard back. It has been like that in the past too. Next time I need firewood, I know who to call. It's great doing business with someone who does business right.
Don came out and gave me a quote to cut down 2 trees. I appreciated he made it a point to tell me his guys were insured and the price was very fair.

Our primary vet clinic was closed on the weekends and Dr. Padilla and his group were able to take us in the following Sunday morning to look at our dog. Dr Padilla was professional and compassionate - reassuring us throughout the visit. His entire staff was very kind and welcoming.
