Jerilyn was my hair dresser and she did my hair cut expertly. She, along with all of the staff, was extremely kind and welcoming. Jerilyn cut my hair exactly how I wanted it. I have had issues finding a salon I like and Hair By Loreen exceeded all of my expectations. I have made another appointment with Jerilyn and will definitely be a regular.
I have been bringing my son here to Cody's since he was 18 months old (he is 3.5 years old now) . I choose Kelsey as his barber and I am so glad I did! Kelsey has a son of her own so she completely understands how little guys haircuts go. When we first started my son was scared and wouldn't sit by himself so for the year or so he would sit on my lap and she was patient and would just use scissors. Keep in mind thats very hard to do with a very wiggly kid. Every time we went ( about every 2-3 months) it got a little easier. Kelsey kept telling me he will sit on his own and let me use clippers beileve me...And she was so right. My son recently got a BIG boy hair cut with clippers , sitting alone in the chair.He looks so handsome and BIG! We love Kelsey I highly recommend her to anyone and I even tell my friends to go see her.
Cody's has a real cool look to it, big leather seats to sit and wait in, they have a pool table, tvs. Everyone is very friendly and welcoming and they get a kick out of watching him get his hair cut! The treats they always have on the table is key too!

Always consistent, always takes his time, and somehow remembers exactly how I like my cut every single visit. I called ahead and they were able to fit me in same day. Mia did my spa pedicure and nails and did a perfect paint job. I ended up having a change of heart on the pedicure color and they were willing to change it to another color for me without making me feel bad about it. Vanessa did the repaint and both women were warm and professional and did a wonderful job. Will be back!

They recently did a remodel and it is much cleaner! Sandy gives a great pedicure and does callus remover for only $30. If they add OPI nailpolish and stop upcharging things, many customers would go there! No one likes to hear about upcharges. Just keep the flat rate and be consistent. I would recommend that they do the massage NOT using the scrub because it hurts, just use lotion! I will add a pic later but really they came out amazing. I thnk they need disposable pedicure packs so customers will stop complaining about their sanitation. They are nice people!
I had booked elsewhere, but they unfortunately were out of stuff when I arrived there just a day before my cruise. Last minute tried this place since their site said walk-ins available. The girl was super sweet and did a great job with my nail art request. I am so grateful. I am not seeing the option to add photos to my review unfortunately, but there were water droplets and seashell texture added to my nails.

This is an extraordinary tattoo shop! I can't stress this enough. The day they close I will literally cry endlessly., This place is an actual hidden gem! Sean is an absolutely amazing artist! I have been tattooed across the country and have yet to find anyone who could even come close. His work is absolutely beautiful. I've been going to him for the last decade & he still completely blows my mind. Shop is nice, private, & friendly. I personally haven't been tattooed by the other gentleman but he also seems to do really nice work (based on work ive seen during my time getting ink) I definitely wouldnt hesitate to get tattooed by him if Sean wasn't available. Matt did a great job installing our new faucets. We had one kitchen and two bathroom faucets that we needed replaced with new ones. He made sure they were properly lined up and working and took the old faucets off our hands. This is the third time we have used Blue Frog for plumbing and we continue to be very pleased with their workmanship.

R&M did an amazing job on my furnace. I've had a faint smell of exhaust for well over a year, on a furnace that was serviced yearly by another company. I called R&M to try someone else. He showed me how dirty and out of adjustment my furnace was... like it hasn't been serviced in years. He adjusted everything and gave it a thorough cleaning. Not a hint of odor from my oil furnace now. Very happy with R&M and I highly recommend them.

We needed a fan/light combo removed and a new light installed in our bedroom. The woman on the phone went above and beyond in terms of scheduling. She found there was a technician in the area, called us back, said he'd be over in a half hour, and he was right on time. He took care of the old wiring (the previous owners really messed this place up), installed a new switch, didn't make a mess, was friendly and helpful, and he was gone within an hour. And it didn't cost an arm and a leg! A friend had recommended Lucibello and we're glad they did. Definitely will be calling them the next time we need electrical work.

The conclusion that Bencar was the company to go with. This decision was one of the best we have ever made. I have heard so many stories from friends about projects going wrong and running weeks and months behind. We started with a plan that basically was keeping the same kitchen footprint. After discussing with Daryl from Bender and Cody we decided to open up the whole area. This involved taking out multiple walls and having new support beams installed. Cody and Lisa came up with a timeline and once the project started it stayed on time to the day.
It certainly was interesting living thru this whole process that took 10 weeks, Now everyday when we walk into our house we look in amazement at how well it turned out. Evan was the lead on our project and we are very grateful for the expertise and professionalism he and all the crew gave us. If you live in the Wallingford area they are without a doubt in my mind the only choice to make,

We had a load bearing wall removed between the kitchen and dining room to open it up. Since the ceiling was going to be open where the wall and existing cabinet and soffit were removed, we had them remove the textured ceiling and install recessed lighting throughout the entire space along with some new cabinets, a new microwave/range hood and new ductwork to vent it outside.
These guys are pros! From the first meeting with Jesse, explaining the entire process from design and drawing plans suitable for submission to the Building Department and the entire crew each day headed up by Tomasz. Always working very clean, even when sanding down the existing textured ceiling. All doorways and access to other parts of the house were sealed off. Patching the existing hardwood floor where the wall came down, you can't see where the old wall was! Electrical and HVAC vents had to be removed or relocated. Everything was done professionally, even bringing in a porta-potty for the crew while the job was in progress!
While the cost was more that I initially intended to spend, the results justified the cost based on the workmanship and professionalism of this team.

Miguel is a really great guy, him and his team really go above and beyond to try and meet you halfway and work with your budget, this man came out in the rain and helped us clear out leaves that we unfortunately hadn't been able to dispose of with everyone in the house being either too old to keep up with that type of yard work or too busy day to day working multiple jobs to make ends meet in this economy, and miguel came with his crew and did us a major solid at a decent price, really upstanding company, couldn't recommend them enough ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Love this group. Super warm and friendly. Very down to earth. I went to see Liz for the first time for an emergency. She was so awesome. I wanted to take her home. She checked in on me frequently to make sure I wasn’t having any issue with the current treatment. I went back to finish up the treatment with Vinny, he was great. Then I had Tina for a dental cleaning very thorough very gentle again awesome. From check in to check out, I was treated wonderfully. They felt like old friends you know the kind that you don’t see for a number of years and when you do see each other, it’s as if there was no time lapse at all.
Dr. Forrester and staff are the gentlest and most skilled dental team I have ever encountered hands down. I had some major work done - Dr. Forrester not only saved my tooth but I felt not a lick of discomfort the entire time. The office is beautiful and calming, not to mention sparklingly clean. A truly caring practice. Highest of recommendations.

I've been going to Healing Hands Chiropractic since 2019. I see Dr. Tracy and now also Dr. Kaitlyn. My first exam scan was rated a 35% which is super low. I constantly got debilitating migraines every week and my neck was always super stiff and tense. My back wasn't too happy either. My last exam scan I received today showed a rating of 81% which is a huge improvement and that's also not going at the frequency I should be going, so I could only imagine how much better it would have been if I were to go more frequently. Due to their chiropractic care over the years, I no longer get migraines. I can live my life more without the migraines stopping it all. I went from weekly migraines to maybe a migraine once in a blue moon. Chiro care has also helped my GERD improve. I also got regularly adjusted while pregnant. I moved to KY for a year and every time I came up to CT, I would visit Healing Hands for an adjustment. I live 1 hr drive from them and I still make it a point to drive to them for my adjustment. I've tried a chiro closer to home and its no comparison to Healing Hands care. They are the only place I trust to adjust my young daughter as well! I 100% recommend Healing Hands Chiropractic

I’ve been seeing Dr.DeRosa since 2023 and it has been a blessing. I’ve been treated by 7 different chiropractors and Dr. DeRosa has been the best one by far. I have suffered from a pinched nerve in my C6 and C7 for several years and after giving Dr. DeRosa a chance, I have felt better and dealt with no numbness which was occurring everyday. I also had lower back pain and after he recommended the spinal decompression treatment, my lower back pain has not come back!
After going through several different physical therapists, Dr. John seems to be the only one who actually knows what he is doing. I've gone only a couple of times, but what a difference compared to Hartford Healthcare, or even Gaylord Physical Therapy. He's used techniques that they hadn't even suggested or tried. I am so grateful to have found him! I'm well on my way to achieving complete relief! So don't give up if you're having aches and pains. This doctor is truly a miracle worker!
Dr Nick is just the best! I first went to him 35 years ago when I had a dog and now I have a cat, my cat is 6 and Dr. Nick remembered my dog 25 years later! He is old school, meaning he is all about the animals, not making money. Recently my cat got sick and I was petrified, I was so worried about her, Dr. Nick saw her immediately, gave her emergency care that she needed. I was ready to order every blood test available from Lyme Disease to Bird Flu to ultrasounds, to daily IV therapy! Dr. Nick explained to me that she needed basic blood work first, she didn't need an ultrasound, a daily fluid therapy was not necessary, he saved me thousands of dollars because the cat was fine after two visits, antibiotics, and two fluid therapies. He called every other day to check on her, he spent 30 minutes on the phone asking detailed questions so I didn't have to take her back for another visit, never charged me. My mother's doctor charges for every EMAIL response, let alone a phone call! I can't say enough wonderful things about this vet, he cares about the animals above all, has a WONDERFUL bedside manner with both the pets and their parents.
