“TRP did a complete kitchen renovation for us and the challenges they faced were substantial. We have an older house with uneven ceilings, our floors needed to be redone, our island was a solid 10 feet long, and our family decided to stay in the house during construction. If that wasn't enough, we were also needing to install bookcases in the adjoining living room, fix a leaky shower on the second floor that had put a giant stain in the living room ceiling, and then add shoe molding to the entire first floor, on account of some poor planning from a prior general contractor.We agreed on a start and end date, and Tom and his team (and he has a wonderful, experienced team) delivered on the completion before the end date. All told, our kitchen reno and related work in the dining room took 11 weeks. Tom was at our worksite nearly everyday, even on the weekends, checking in on details big and small, and he always put "the right people, in the right place, at the right time," as he is fond of saying.This was an education for us in what a full service contractor business looks like when it has a mature operations structure, with stellar office staff and stellar craftsmen. In addition, we just really liked Tom's demeanor, communication style, and evident care for our house and family.Our project was a big investment, and we could not be happier that we put our trust in Tom.“

“I had the interior of my condo re-done by Sunwood Development a couple of years ago. Greg was the only one of seven contractors that even returned my call.When he came to give me an estimate, he told me that Sunwood generally doesn't take on "smaller" jobs such as mine, but they'd take it on. He also said I might have sticker shock from the scope of work I wanted done.I wanted all new kitchen cabinets, granite counter tops, bathroom vanities & toilets, kitchen appliances, a new shower stall with glass doors, porcelain tile in the kitchen & entryway, ceramic tile in both bathrooms, and old school oak floors throughout the rest of the 1100 Sq. Ft. of my home.I was NOT shocked by the price quoted. It was within reason.Upon signing the contract and initial payment in their offices, Greg blocked out on a calendar what phases would be completed on what dates, and was given a firm date of completion of the overall project.I made my selections for cabinets, countertops, bathroom fixtures, tiles and appliances and paint selections at the appropriate times.I paid extra for some change orders I wanted as the work progressed.All the work was completed exactly on the dates blocked out by Greg, and the overall project was completed a few days early.Upon completion of the final walk through, I was handed a check for over $700.00, because they completed the work under budget.I moved back into an essentially brand new home.It's been a few years, and the workmanship and materials have held up extremely well.Obviously, I strongly recommend Sunwood Development for your construction needs.“
