I have been bringing my son here to Cody's since he was 18 months old (he is 3.5 years old now) . I choose Kelsey as his barber and I am so glad I did! Kelsey has a son of her own so she completely understands how little guys haircuts go. When we first started my son was scared and wouldn't sit by himself so for the year or so he would sit on my lap and she was patient and would just use scissors. Keep in mind thats very hard to do with a very wiggly kid. Every time we went ( about every 2-3 months) it got a little easier. I moved to Wallingford almost five years ago and have tried just about every barbershop in town. When I finally went to Cody’s, I was welcomed like I had been a regular for years.
Kelsey took care of me, and she was fantastic from the start. She’s incredibly skilled and can handle anything you want done with your hair. I was especially impressed with how well she cut and styled the top using scissors and it came out exactly how I like it. Her fading and edging were also on point.
I highly recommend Kelsey if you’re looking for a great cut and a barber who really knows what they’re doing.
