“If you have a furry member of the family, THIS IS YOUR VET. For my first visit, my appointment was at 3pm. The check in process was one simple sheet and took LESS THAN 5 minutes. My cat (Maui) was checked by the nurse at 3:05 and the doctor was in the exam room by 3:10. The exam was thorough and complete. Maui was taken back for a full panel blood work and was prescribed antibiotics for a mouth infection in 15 minutes. Maui and I were out the door with his prescriptions IN HAND at 3:40. The exam rooms are very clean, the treats are plentiful, and most importantly the staff is caring, thorough and time efficient. Save yourself the frustration and long waits many other vets make you deal with and just come here.“

Dr Diamond cracked a case on my dog 6 other big vets in San diego couldn't (almost 8k wasted), and after that I knew these folks were the one. From there on its been nothing but amazing, they have a very special staff team. Like, everyone remembers the pets, know how to work with each and every one differently, like my aggressive and very protective 120lb GSD. AND YET THEY LOVE TO SEE HIM!!! The entire experience at Rancho San Carlos Vet is top-notch — communication is excellent, scheduling is easy, the online portal is convenient for appointments and prescription food, and we love the text and call reminders. “I brought my reactive, rescued Australian Shepherd to Del Norte Animal Hospital at the recommendation of a friend.for a skin issue and to get her tested for heartworm medication. Since we were new, my Aussie was given a full exam. We saw Dr. Meyer, assisted by Elizabeth. If I could hive 10 stars I would. They were so getle and patient with my dog and spent a lot of time to get her comfortable with them before her exam. Their pricing was reasonable and we left with a firm diagnosis for the skin issue and a treatment plan. “I’ve been a client of Turquoise Animal Hospital for many years and have had the absolute pleasure of Dr. Reed treating our rescue pups. She has always taken such incredible care of them and I trust her completely.

A few years ago my husband got really good pet insurance, but it was tied to a specific veterinary clinic, and we were honestly heartbroken because we loved Turquoise so much. Even with that change, for anything serious I still take one of our pups, Foxy, to Dr. Reed because that is how much I value her expertise and care.
