“My son has been going to prestige since he was 4 years old. He just turned 7. There are plenty of Tae Kwon Do schools in my area but I do make a little drive for Master Nam and his team. I've seen my son grow from a shy timid child into a more self confident, disciplined kid. Master Nam teaches but always makes time for some fun for the kids . You can tell he really enjoys what he does and he goes above and beyond for these kids. He throws movie nights, nerf parties bouncy houses and so much more. We're happy to have found prestige and we'll be sticking around for sure“

Tonight, one of my staff ran inside their studio because a couple of guys were catcalling and being sketchy while she was trying to lock up. Two of their staff dropped what they were doing and escorted her over to lock up and get to her car safely. My weekly private lessons with Master Sun and my new daily tai chi practice has helped me immensely in increasing body awareness, building mobility and strength, decreasing anxiety, and being more mindful. As a climber and weight lifter, Tai Chi is the perfect accompaniment to my other fitness activities - it’s helped me in both of these areas while allowing me to increase my focus, mobility, breath control, form, and balance.Master Sun is an excellent teacher and is truly committed to his craft. He provides clear guidance during our lessons and sets a strong intention for every movement, sequence, and form. I’ve learned SO MUCH in just seven months via our time spent focused on 24 and 48 short forms, as well as many other individual movements and stretches.Tai chi focuses heavily on the kinesthetic senses, a skill that has pushed me to increase my body awareness and memorization of body movements more than I’ve ever done before. Master Sun is extremely helpful during the memorization process and breaks down each movement and sequence slowly and clearly while assisting with understanding intention, energy projection, breath-work, and good technique. He’s also clear in demonstrating how to move and how to project intention (“hold a ball”, “reach forward”, “press down on a table”, touch the ceiling”, etc) which makes it easier to visualize and memorize the movements while understanding the internal tension and release that is crucial throughout the practice of tai chi.Master Sun is talented, kind, and patient. I am grateful to have him as a teacher and I look forward to many years of expanding my tai chi practice with his guidance!I recommend that everyone tries tai chi! Master Sun is the best teacher you can find. He’s a true master.Final thoughts: The Tai Chi Academy is always very clean and quiet. There’s plenty of parking in the back of the building. As well as some of the coaches there, so u know they really know what they're teaching. If u seriously want to be a fighter or even just for exercise as they offer fitness classes and strenght and conditioning classes as well. Great fit for anyone and everyone there“
