“I was led to American Kenpo Concepts more than a quarter century ago when I saw the Kenpo movement of a student. As a result, I went in search of the student’s instructor. I visited several American Kenpo Karate schools in search of the Kenpo movement to no avail. My persistence to find the instructor eventually led to Mr. Tommy Chavies school - American Kenpo Concepts. I observed a class taught by Mr. Chavies and I observed the unique Kenpo movement I was intrigued by.<br><br>Since that time, I have been fortunate to be a student under the tutelage of Mr. Chavies. The study of American Kenpo Karate has led me to clarity in all facets of daily life as well as in the understanding of the Kenpo Alphabet of Motion applied to a combative situation. “I’m a black belt here at TMAX, and my experience here for the past 4+ years has been nothing but great! The instructors are always nice and they do an astounding job at handling the super loud toddlers that keep screaming “6-7.” In most cases, this is just a fun thing for your kid to do while you go out and do fun things without the burden of a child holding you back; but kids that are serious about Taekwondo WILL get really good thanks to the help of the masters.
