We were on the fence about spending the time and resources for our 5 year old to do Taekwando. We thought she was too young but decided to try out Kang's Sunrise Taekwando anyways after reading the reviews here on yelp. Over a year later we are going strong and my little girl loves it. I can say that I have definitely seen her grow in so many ways, most notably her confidence in her own abilities. Master Kang really does an excellent job facilitating a structured class that is fun and serious all at the same time. We can tell that she is trying her best, listening, and paying attention. I highly recommend!
I am so thankful and glad that we found this tkd place! The master really cares and knows each of his students and it shows through the way that he instructs and shows attentiveness to each individual student. The wife is also super helpful and friendly and also cares for the students as well. The master teaches each class with so much energy and passion that it amazes us every class we attend. This place is definitely a place where they teach discipline, having a positive / confident attitude- characteristics that they can apply in life as well. My kids have definitely been learning so much from this place and enjoy coming to every single class.
Kang's Sunrise Taekwondo is wonderful! Our son gets excited when it's time to go to class. We can see it on his face. He enjoys it and at the same time learning body focus and discipline. There's accountability for his participation in class and what he brings home! Master Kang is very mindful of his students, body positions, and behavior! He encourages, he corrects, and at the same time, he really makes it lots of fun for the kids and parents watching. He is very engaged and makes sure the students understand and strong respect towards taekwondo, instructors, parents, and fellow students! Thank you!!!
