I joined JKA Los Angeles in the summer of 2023 after more than 40 years away from karate training. With Sensei Harada's guidance, instruction, and dedicated training, I was finally able to achieve my black belt!

One of the things I especially appreciate about JKA Los Angeles is the diversity of its students--from young children to adults, and from complete beginners to highly experienced practitioners. Everyone is welcomed and encouraged to improve at their own pace.

JKA is one of the world's largest Japanese karate organizations, and I'm very proud to be part of it.

My son has been going to JKA since he was 5 years old. It has been over 2 years now and he enjoys it very much. JKA shows discipline and what it takes for hard work to achieve a goal.
