My session starts out with a review of my body mechanics and then stim and heated pad on back. This offering sometimes is all I need to relax my computer shoulders. I am very relaxed and ready for my adjustment which is a gentle maneuver. The staff are very pleasant and they always are easy to work with. Unbelievably positive experience. My son had a poor visit at a previous dentist and we have been trying to get him to not dread going to the dentist for the past year and half. Today he was excited about going, sat on my lap in the chair, got his teeth cleaned and inspected, and in the parking lot said “daddy I want to go back to the dentist!” So so so so happy with the team at Ohana and I think they are world class caregivers. I'm not sure if the reviewer before me was referring to the same Hollis Landscaping... my friend recommended John and his team to me and they have been incredible with our yard!! We can't afford too much aside from monthly maintenance and we did a backyard upgrade with lots of new shrubs, new path, and groundcover. I cannot say enough good things about them. John got back to me right away with very reasonable estimates. His workers show up as they are scheduled-- right on time. The prices are very good and we are so happy we hired them to help maintain our yard. They are also very friendly. John is an exceptional landscaper so he had great suggestions within our budget. Highly highly recommend giving him a call or shooting him an email (he emails as well as returns calls). They have made a huge difference in the appearance of our home!

I've followed her from San Francisco to Orinda, and even while living in New York for five years, I made sure to book an appointment with her every time I flew home. Her treatments are truly exceptional, far beyond a typical facial. Ally doesn't just apply products; she meticulously analyzes and transforms your skin. I saw Ellie yesterday after lunch at Comelones Tacos. Her prices are 75 dollars for a haircut. She was prompt and was serving two people when I saw her. My appointment was at 12 noon and that is when I sat in her chair. The salon itself is very small with one chair for waiting clients. There were three stations and all three ladies including Ellie looked like true professionals. I didn't see any chatting or joking but complete attention to their clients except for Ellie who checked her cellphone several times and also talked on her cellphone while cutting my hair. Since I paid 90 (after a 15 dollar tip) for a 22 minute service, I felt a little cheated. Ellie washed my hair for five minutes from 12:00 to 12:05. At 12:22, I was outside getting into my car which meant that my haircut was 17 minutes. 90 dollars for a 17 minute haircut just doesn't feel right. My haircut was very basic, a few layers in the back and I didn't really see much layers framing my face which she promised. I would have liked a little more detailed framing. I will see how my hair grows out but I am unsure I will come back. Also, Ellie doesn't take credit cards so I had to pay her cash which she appreciated.

I’ve gone to Kevin ,off and on ,for about 15 years . I went most recently for sciatica. Kevin was able to alleviate my pain in a few short visits . He is so personable , professional and kind . I would also like to say that the girls at the front desk are also great . I highly recommend Kevin’s practice to anyone looking for a chiropractor.
Dr. Morgan did a great job of creating and installing my front teeth crowns. The dental staff also did a great job of facilitating the input of the crowns. All the staff have a great and supportive attitude.
We chose Tom for our kitchen and bath remodel after seeing the quality of his past work, and he absolutely delivered. The bathroom now features a gorgeous curbless shower, and the kitchen looks incredible with custom cabinets and granite countertops. Everything stayed on schedule and on budget, and the team was professional and reliable the whole way through. For a two-room remodel, it all felt a lot more manageable than we expected.

Since she retired, we've been with Dr. Handelsman, who has been awesome. All the doctors we've seen have been nice, attentive, and responsive to medical needs, even to more urgent ones.

I followed him from Sharp Barbershop to Silver Fox Barber Co as he is a true artisan, has a great eye, precise and true to his craft. If you want the best in Pilates, this is your place. Too many pilates classes are taught by untrained instructors. Carolyn was trained by one of the original pilates teachers. She meets you where you are and works with you. She's smart & charming and unlike so many storefront pilates places, she knows the human body. She keeps you flexible and in shape. You won't find anyone better.
My family and I have been patients of Dr. Morgan since she opened her office in Orinda. She is incredibly skilled and professional and the quality of care is top notch. Dr G. Did an amazing job on our dogs teeth! The before/after pictures I posted speak for themselves! We have had wonderful experiences each time we have taken our pets to Orinda Vet. We have one dog and two cats. Cats can be difficult to handle, but Dr. G was truly a professional. I've been to many other clinics that scruff my cats without giving them a chance to behave. Dr. Smith is THE BEST! Out of all the dentists I've had over the years, she is by far the most knowledgeable. I recently had some gum exposure I needed corrected, and she did a super thorough job and guided me through the entire process, while being gentle as well. Upon a recommendation from a neighbor, we chose Roman Tree Services to do some tree work for insurance purposes. Their quote came in under other bids but, what I was impressed with was the specifics of their bid ( photos of each area along with a detailed description of the planned work). They were the only company that offered to cover the roof area with plywood for protection as well as the AC units. They made sure I was happy before they left the premises. I recommend them wholeheartedly!

I can't speak highly enough about this place and the people here - I am so grateful to have found them. Over the past year, I have had many items dry cleaned and they have done an incredible job. Many of the items had been brought to other dry cleaners previously and the stains were not removed - it was Hail Mary to bring them in here and they look like new! They are very reasonably priced, I mean I would have paid much more for these services, but price is subjective. It is a 30 min drive from my house, but I will never get anything dry cleaned anywhere else. I wish I had before/after photos to share.

Maria is amazing and so sweet and funny! Loved how informative she was! I can get a bit claustrophobic with the light mask as well as get a little anxious each time I try something new and she was very understanding and comforting. My skin is glowing after getting the cold sculpting ! I even bought an amazing package deal that I could use every two weeks up to my wedding this August. I am 33 and have developed 11 lines on my forward and my neck is unfortunately starting to be crepey. I don't do Botox, yet haha, but I can tell this really plumped up and firmed my skin and can't wait to get to my other appointments! Just read some of the recent reviews and want to say that the staff did consistently (2-3 times?) bring up the special and also informed me about the payment plan (up to 12 month plan is free of interest!!). I think this can come across as pushy if someone has an inner voice telling them they're obligated but I saw it moreso as the team being informative and making sure I understood the deal. This is a place for self care and obviously the more you do these treatments the better the results. I will say I only had today to make a decision of the package of 5 treatments which naturally puts you on the spot and this might not be for everyone. I think it's a good deal and I have an important date coming up so it made sense for me and I am glad they mentioned it twice. If the shoe doesn't fit for you just pass on it. This place does really reasonable promotions otherwise I wouldn't necessarily be able to afford coming here. Also! A facial and these treatments can only do so much if you're not doing other preventative work. These people are nice but also have a job to do and they means making sure you understand their promotion! I am grateful for the promotions!!!

The gym is always clean, well-organized, and usually not overcrowded. I love that I can come in at whatever time works for my schedule . The staff is friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help out or answer questions, which makes the atmosphere feel supportive rather than intimidating. It's also a nice touch that the members are respectful and keep the space tidy. Overall, it's the perfect place to get a solid workout in--convenient, reliable, and community-oriented.
This place is an absolute gem. I had several pairs of shoes that needed attention, including some leather boots that got completely trashed at a desert wedding. My local dry cleaner quoted me $85 just to clean the boots, but Orinda Shoe Service cleaned those PLUS two other pairs of shoes for less than that price.
Their turnaround time is impressive too - I dropped everything off the day before Thanksgiving and was able to pick up the day after Thanksgiving. The staff was professional and friendly throughout the process.
The quality of work is outstanding. My boots look fantastic now, completely restored from their post-desert-wedding state. Even though it's a 30-minute drive each way for me, it's absolutely worth the trip. I've found my go-to cobbler and will definitely be bringing all my future shoe care needs here.
Pro tip: Their prices are super reasonable compared to other services in the Bay Area, so consider bringing multiple pairs at once to make the most of your trip.
The staff at Orinda Urgent care were amazing and so nice and very professional. I had cut my finger and need stitches. We arrived at 7:50 pm and they close at 8:00. They brought us in, took X-rays and the Dr stitched my finger. They were wonderful!!!!
I’ve been coming here regularly for several years and have been a very happy customer! Ivee runs a great business and the salon is pretty, comfortable, relaxing and clean. Ivee consistently gives me an excellent manicure (I always get dip and love it!) and the other women who work here give a great pedicure. It’s a pleasure to spend time here. I highly recommend!
