Both my daughter and I had mani/pedis today. Elaine was gentle and took her time with my nails. She shared her perspective on acrylic nail removal and I was pleased with the information and my nails at the end of the treatment. The shop is pleasant, quiet and clean. I have been going here for 3 years. It’s the only place I’ve found where the gel manicures last 4 weeks. Everyone that works here is skilled and very friendly. I moved from Orinda and still drive back to get my mani and pedi here. They are the best!

Bummer all the way around. Wanted to love this place as was recommended by a friend but my pedicure just didn't meet the mark. My nail technician began with doing a very poor job of sanitizing the chair I was to sit in and it is worth noting that the utensils she used did not appear to be sanitized either. Instruments did not come in sealed package and technician sanitized only one of instruments she used by squeezing some rubbing alcohol on the item before use. Ugh. Additionally, cuticle service lasted about a minute what was done to one foot was not done to the other foot - things like cleaning under the nails and so forth.
