“Justin is a hero! He spent 3 hours servicing my entire system for $70! Justin is communicative, honest, knowledgeable and hard working. He identified a potential issue with my blower which ended up being the result of a previous bad service. They tried to oil sealed beating which doesn't work. Justin let me blow and clean the blower mirror assembly which made it run like new. He also measured and identified an off limit capacitor which I replace myself from Amazon for $10. Justin also cleaned up my AC outside unit and checked the caps there. My system is now checked, cleaned and running like new thanks to these guys. I highly recommend them. Just make sure you do your homework and take your time to understand if there are truly any potential issues that need fixing especially if your units are on the older side. I opted out of the coil cleaning service as it is too expensive and not worth in my opinion. All and all, great guy.“

“Casino heating and air-conditioning is absolutely the best! After our AC broke down during a massive heat spell, I got the runaround from a whole list of manufacturer-authorized repair people. None of them would honor the warranty that was in place. So I called Casino. Even though they couldn't cover the warranty because they don't handle that specific manufacturer, the price was unbelievably fair and he was able to come out the same day! “Chad was helpful and knowledgable with HVAC systems, knows what parts of my particular AC system was proprietary and what’s not. His tip on adding a soft-start to reduce the kWh demand curve was on point. The only thing I can ding him on was not fully unplugging the black safety switch. You need to pull it out completely, not leave it in there while trying to discharge the capacitor. I had to kill it from the circuit breaker. Chad understood my complaints how modern products continue to infringe on the owner’s right to own, right to repair, how the EPA forces new (slightly flammable) refrigerants every few years to make AC systems more complicated than they need to be, to nudge the consumer onto a subscription model for maintenance in order to satisfy a warranty requirement. Thankfully, the sheep in Patagonia are no longer blind in the winter months. Gone are the days when you need simply replace your filters and clean your evap coils and have a system that lasts 30+ years. Ultimately, it is the owner’s responsibility to keep the HVAC systems clean and maintained. What you gain in electricity savings, you lose in maintenance and repairs. Research is necessary to understand what can and cannot be done alone, and when to reach out to the professionals.“
