“We called Mike's Air to investigate a strange smell and peeling paint around one of our vents. Raya was very kind and worked with our schedule and was prompt about following up with any changes or updates. On the day of inspection, Danny came out to check out the issue; he texted us 40 minutes before his arrival and was very prompt. Danny was really nice and shot straight with us.

He looked at the issue, then proceeded to check the HVAC system on the roof and said everything looks to be in good condition with no cracks. He checked the moisture in our vents and noted no issues, but he did notice our master bathroom had a closed vent. He mentioned that the closed vent is most likely the source of the issue/smell because all the humidity is being routed to the one other vent with paint peeling issues, which potentially isn't enough to clear out the moisture in the room effectively on its own.

He said as there isn't an issue, he said no fee for him coming out which we are incredibly grateful for! We now have two vents going instead of one and I feel like a dope for not realizing one of the vents was closed. Hopefully this fixes the issue, but if not, we will call Mike's Air again!
