The installation was professional and the office was very helpful. The one regret was accepting plans for an adequate sized system after requesting to upsize for future since we already conserved and wanted to add for electric vehicle charging and other. Salesperson Sean still based on prior billing history and was more interested in getting reviews posted, so here it is. First year had a true up bill without increasing usage much. We added a small plug n play hot tub last month and the true up shot up $200 for the one month. Yes they are not efficient but also made it clear I was wanting a larger sized system to accommodate and was worried about missing the deadline at the time so did not push to change the design. Save the frustration and insist on additional panels if that's what you want.“

“Terrence did a great job repairing the portion of the roof that had tiles shifted out of place because the sideboard the tiles attached to was warped. He delivered the lumber for me to paint a few days before the repair job. He did the work expertly and efficiently. He put in new underlayment and did touch up paint on the lumber. He was also nice enough to paint a short down sprout that had some rust. His quoted price is competitive, and he paid attention to details, and cleaned up after the job was done. “We hired Villatoro & M Construction (VC) for a whole house remodel. Our project included everything from seismic and electrical upgrades to a full kitchen and bath remodeling. They literally took almost every wall down to the studs then rebuilt them with new windows, doors, wiring, insulation and wall board. The final result looks amazing. During the process, VC worked diligently to get the job done in less than six months. They have a large crew and were able to schedule whatever resource was needed in a timely manner- sometimes having 8 to 10 workers on site at a time. Several key staff were onsite regularly and seemed to take personal interest in the project outcome. “Our 18 year old Monier Lifetile Cedarlite roof had many broken tiles due to its inherent fragility and foot traffic from painters and solar equipment installers. Most roofers that we contacted refused to work on it because of its fragility. We eventually found 3 roofers who made bids (one without even going up on the roof!). We chose California Custom Contractors (CCC) because the owner, Greg Meo did a thorough inspection which he documented with photographs. His proposal, again carefully documented with photographs of the proposed repairs, was not the cheapest of the 3 but its thoroughness and Greg's obvious experience with Cedarlite tile roofs (again, more photos of past jobs) made the choice clear. We learned that CCC does not install new roofs but only does repairs.CCC cleaned moss and other debris from the roof, replaced and painted all pipe flashings, replaced all broken tiles and installed metal flashing to replace the original cracked lead flashing. All of the work done was documented with photographs. Our roof now looks fantastic and we are confident that there will be no leaks. Greg and his team of 3 very experienced workers were a pleasure to work with and get my highest recommendation. If your roof needs careful conscientious repair, call California Custom Contractors; despite their generic name, they only repair roofs.“

“Our ceiling showed signs of a leak last Spring, so I contacted four roofing contractors to get estimates to repair a section of our roof. However, all four representatives indicated that, after 20+ years of wear, the roof required complete replacement. After carefully reviewing the four estimates and corresponding with the job managers, I decided to proceed with Sam’s team at Apollo Roofing. They were not the lowest estimate, but after a detailed evaluation, that difference in higher pricing seemed well worth the quality and comprehensiveness of the proposed work. The job began in a timely fashion, about a month after we signed the contract with Apollo Roofing. The house is a single-storied structured, but the roof is complicated by 7 reused skylights and a combination of shingled and flat roof sections (see attached photos). As with any re-roofing job, there were unanticipated repairs and corrections needed during the course of the job, but Sam and his construction team were consistently responsive to any issues requiring attention and action to keep the job’s schedule on time.
