Elizabeth and Samantha were really sweet and kind from the very beginning, even checking up on us for a couple of months. We were able to have a nice Celebration for our mom at our church with a hint of country music. It was well attended by family, neighbors and a weight-loss group who all loved her. I think it helped us process our grief a lot.

“My husband chose Trident. We had a representative come out to the house. We chose cremation for him. It was less stress on me by setting it all up prior to his death on September 26, 2025. He resisted but I insisted!
What a relief that Funeral Director John Johnson took me through everything, seeing as how I was too upset to think about what came next. It took a while to get the death certificate but after that my husband was cremated. Everything else followed with ease. He will be interred at Sacramento Valley National Cemetery.
John has taken care of all details and was so caring. I’m so grateful
As soon as he is interred I will be seeing John again to plan my cremation and interment next to my husband forever.

“The East Lawn in Greenback is a gorgeous garden that was a major draw for us when we bought our family plots. Plus, my husband’s family members are in there.

Two weeks ago, on September 19th and 20th , we had the service for my mother. We’re so incredibly grateful to Annie for all her help . She was so supportive, patient, and understanding, even when things got really tough. We appreciate you Annie Bunch! ?“

“After searching for many cremation services in the Sacramento area, I decided to call Lowest Cost Cremation. I picked them from the ease of their website and straight forward approach of figuring out their cost. When I contacted them, I spoke to Matt. Within minutes I decided this was the company I wanted to deal with. Matt was knowledgeable, warm, friendly , caring and very helpful. Living in Centra l California, it was a simple transaction using DocuSign to sign authorization paperwork for the cremation without having to drive to Sacramento. Likewise, the payment of the cremation was a snap using their online payment service. In all I think it took about a twenty minutes phone call and then maybe 10 minutes to sign and pay for the cremation. I want to thank both Matt and Chelsea for helping us and helping relieve the stress of the cremation process for our family in their time of need. “I do not have loved ones buried here, but wanted to explore this cemetery as it was established in 1862. It's appeared well maintained and I did not notice any litter or trash strewn about as other reviews state. There are very large old trees and many benches in honor of those deceased located throughout so that you can rest and reflect. The older part of the cemetery with headstones dating back to the mid 1800s is located to the left as you enter. That part of the cemetery is well worth walking through and exploring the old family plots and veterans who lay there. The other part of the cemetery, which is newer is also quite lovely. What we immediately noticed was how colorful and personal the cemetery was. Yes, many of the headstones are decorated in colorful artificial flowers, but I found it quite beautiful as I turned the corner and saw all this lovely color amongst all the headstones. This is part of the culture of the families that visit. It appeared to be primarily families of Eastern European descent. There were quite a few people visiting and cleaning gravesites of loved ones. It was nice to see quite a few people visiting. This is not a large cemetery as it was established well over 100 years ago. I enjoy exploring cemeteries and find them to be peaceful places.“
