My mother passed away and we used the services at Mount Vernon. Roy was phenomenal. He helped us arrange everything for the service, from beginning to the end and the repast. I would like to commend 3 people who were so helpful, respectful and courteous. Kira, Hayden and Matthew, you made this experience bearable. You greeted guests, spoke to them, made sure that they were comfortable and you made sure that as the family, we had everything that we needed. I truly appreciate each of you and I'm grateful for the services that you provide.
Our funeral director, Ashley, was the caring and helping hand we needed to guide us through the funeral planning process. She showed compassion and empathy and was patient throughout all of our communications. Ashley was supportive of our wishes and did everything possible to make our wishes a reality. We appreciate how she attended to all the details which made things easier during our painful grief and loss.
Since we didn't know what to expect, we were pleased they meet our small expectation. Then they went over and above all expectation. Ever phone call, every text was answered swiftly. They helped us plan everything and made suggestions without pushing. We felt like they cared about us, not just our loved one. It was the best experience we could've have hoped for during a difficult time in our lives. Thank you to the Mount Vernon staff, and especially to Ashley, you were awesome.
