483 Pine St, San Francisco“I came across TJ's name 2 years ago actually at his previous clinic, where I was rehabilitating post knee surgery. My colleague went to TJ post his knee surgery and said amazing things about Belden. Flash forward couple of years, I was having a difficult time recovering from my long runs training for my first marathon. I decided to visit TJ and Sergio for some guidance. Right when I stepped in, I wished I came here 2 years ago. There was no stim or ice machine in sight. I was first seen by TJ who diagnosed some muscle imbalances, taught me how to properly foam roll, and worked on my muscles manually. When I say 'manually,'-- MANUALLY, hence 'physical' therapy :). He worked to soften my knots and release tension in my muscles. While he worked on it, he showed me what a muscle that was massaged out feels like and what more I can do to relieve muscle tension at home. Furthermore, this guy rock climbs after a hard day's worth of work!! So impressive. Beyond the quality of the treatment here, Sergio always responds to my calls and questions about insurance in a timely manner. He works seamlessly with TJ, helping patients with their exercises. I have enjoyed getting to know these guys as well and they are super funny and friendly. I look forward to seeing them for injury prevention/rehabilitation as I continue my active lifestyle.“

1200 Gough St, San Francisco“Healthwell is such a wonderful physical therapy group. My PT, Megan, is extremely knowledgeable, kind, and thoughtful about my care. I have long COVID, which manifests as ME/CFS (chronic fatigue), and Megan is very attentive to the specific challenges of my chronic illness—specifically not pushing myself too hard and avoiding post exertional malaise. Megan also takes an overall approach of accounting for life activities (eg changing a diaper, folding clothes, climbing stairs) as exercise… and co-creating a balanced approach to pacing myself. While Healthwell doesn’t take all insurance, they do work with you on a reasonable visit max and submit to insurance on your behalf. This is a huge plus, and I’m very grateful for them going the extra mile when so many out of network or out of pocket providers don’t. A+ for Healthwell.“

She went at the problem very patiently and systematically, from several angles, and when we were finished the pain was about 90% gone - which was *huge*; I'd begun to feel downright cursed with pain - and I was now equipped with a whole battery of exercises and stretches to help me keep it away. So far they've worked great.“

I was treated by Dr. Alexa, Nicole, Mark, Jenni, and Cat (in the SF location) during the two months leading up to my first marathon (during which time I was riddled with foot and knee injuries). I appreciated the attention they took and how they kept adapting my treatment so that I could accomplish my goals. Front desk was smart and efficient. Nothing but positive things to say! THANK YOU TEAM! - Brooke“

460 Boulevard Way #2d, Oakland“Jessica is the real deal. I’m skeptical of a lot of PTs, but she really knows her stuff. We worked together for about two months, testing frequently to observe progress, and reprogramming as I improved. My shoulder is back to 90% strength—which is the best PT experience I’ve ever had—and I’m now equipped with the knowledge to push it that last 10%. I can’t recommend her enough! Also, the front desk folks are friendly, organized, and on top of communicating about insurance, payment, and appointment timing. They run a tight ship in there.“

44 Gough St, San Francisco“I would recommend Lands End to anyone in a heartbeat. I came for two different issues (lower back and knee) and had both resolved within a short amount of time. Without the work I did here I would not be able to continue playing the sports I love at the same intensity. Micheline and her team are pros. But more importantly, I love that it's a friendly, low-key place where you get a lot of attention and know that they truly care about your progress. Thank you again, Micheline, Zarinah and Megan!“

He also makes great recommendations for supplements that support your body's needs. Randi, at the front desk keeps things running smoothly and gets you in and out! I really enjoy the work I get at Innate and highly recommend them.“

5625 Columbia Ave, Richmond“I’ve worked with Dr Jess on several injuries related to long distance running: knees, feet, and ankles. She has always been able to help me get back to the sports I love quickly. In 2019 I had to take 10 months off of running due to injuries. Nothing I could find online was working for me and it didn’t get better with rest. I saw Dr Jess in early 2020 and she helped me identify and treat my IT band syndrome. I finished the year with over 1k miles and by 2022 achieved a long standing goal of mine to run a trail 50k in under 5 hours. What I like most about her approach is that she really teaches you how to improve form, strength, and flexibility on your own with exercises that I found easy to follow after the sessions.I will definitely see Dr Jess again if I have problems in the future.“

I've had two sessions with Amy since injuring my shoulder and she has made considerable progress on that joint.Amy is incredibly patient and really takes the time to explain how to do things right and not make things worse.I highly recommend her studio for anyone with skeleto-muscular injuries!“

Clean studio and relaxing atmosphere.“

2397 Shattuck Ave. #206, Berkeley“I was referred by UCSF Endometriosis Center to Janette for pelvic floor physical therapy following a laparoscopy. I had been in constant, chronic, and debilitating pain for over 2 years, which impacted my overall quality of life. Janette's individualized approach and expertise allowed me to feel relief the day following my first appointment. I noticed going from irritable and agitated due to the pain, to calm and present in my body. This was the first time I had felt like this in over 2 years and I became hopeful for my future. Janette validated my experience through her understanding of the latest endometriosis research. Janette provided manageable exercises where I was able to see progress between each session, which kept me motivated. I feel safe, seen, and held throughout this healing process by Janette's kind, calm, and present demeanor.“

She checked in frequently and made sure I was comfortable, hydrated and safe. I definitely released some toxins after. Will be back.“

The combination of her impeccable knowledge of anatomy and how your body truly works with her experience and intentions to heal are truly wonderful and worth every moment and dollar spent.Often people work with a PT in emergency circumstances or recovering from an injury, but you may consider also working with her not in a time of crisis to improve your ergonomic relationship to whatever you do in your daily life and get tuned up! She’s wonderful and I can’t say enough good things, highly recommended.“

“I had the opportunity to rehabilitate with Mike and staff at Pro Motion for over 8 years. Through several surgeries and a lot of therapy I felt like family with Pro Motion. The staff and Mike made me feel right at home and comfortable while going through my rehab process. I did say "Uncle Uncle" at one point during an appointment for shoulder rehab but it was so worth it. Thank you again for all you do for patients, like making your office a warm and welcoming place to begin regaining our motion.“
“Edie is the Sherlock Holmes of PTs. Don't expect a run of the mill assessment and standard exercises. Edie goes deep in her evaluation, bringing decades of experience, education, insight, and wisdom about how our bodies perform, and she then works with you on solutions that actually work for you and your lifestyle. She does all of this with grace, patience, compassion, and humor. Best of all, she LOVES what she does and it shows.I went to Edie with a laundry list of flat feet, persistent lower back pain, tendonitis in my wrists and elbows, and massive neck/shoulder lockup with chronic headaches. Edie took one look at my feet and said they're not (structurally) flat, they're just flexible and weak, but the good news is that we can probably fix them. In just 6 weeks my gait has improved and, with it, my posture. I no longer wake up aching and stiff. My headaches have cleared, thanks to Edie's bodywork (yep, her approach to healing is holistic and she doesn't just do PT). And, I never thought I'd say this, but I love the exercises she gives me. They make me feel so good during and after. Edie's studio is like the ultimate playground. She has all kinds of equipment, props, and tools that she puts to full use to find personalized solutions for you.Pro tip: Don't hold back, be honest about your habits and how you live, so that you can benefit from Edie's work. I love to hang out in bed for more hours than the average cat and I knew it was adding to my already existing back pain. I was afraid Edie would tell me my bed is now off limits, but instead, she set me up with the right support pillows and here I am, writing this review pain-free from guess where? :)“

Three Embarcadero Ctr, San Francisco“Dr. Rabbetz has been part of my trusted care circle for over a year. What I appreciate most about Dr. Rabbetz is how thorough he is in diagnosing a problem and the follow up care to check in on how I'm doing. For example, when I came to him with leg pain last year, he determined it was in fact a tear in my hip and sent me to the best hip specialist in San Francisco. I needed surgery and coached me every step of the way, and was very involved in my recovery. His positivity, encouragement and care has gotten me through countless ailments (including neck and wrist) and I'm so thankful. Thank you Dr. Rabbetz for your healing powers, your wisdom, and for being YOU!“
“Susan and her team helped me rehab after wrist surgery. She was patient, always encouraging, and knew exactly how to give me my mobility back. In prior experiences I used to dread going to PT, but not with Susan and team -- I always looked forward to her help keeping me on track and moving me forward. Sad to "graduate" but can't recommend highly enough. Thank you, Susan!“
