“I’ve worked with Dr Jess on several injuries related to long distance running: knees, feet, and ankles. She has always been able to help me get back to the sports I love quickly. In 2019 I had to take 10 months off of running due to injuries. Nothing I could find online was working for me and it didn’t get better with rest. I saw Dr Jess in early 2020 and she helped me identify and treat my IT band syndrome. I finished the year with over 1k miles and by 2022 achieved a long standing goal of mine to run a trail 50k in under 5 hours. What I like most about her approach is that she really teaches you how to improve form, strength, and flexibility on your own with exercises that I found easy to follow after the sessions.I will definitely see Dr Jess again if I have problems in the future.“

“I did six sessions with Dr Alice for a very mysterious and very painful sciatica-like syndrome in my leg. Alice was fantastic to work with and helped me a ton. She went at the problem very patiently and systematically, from several angles, and when we were finished the pain was about 90% gone - which was *huge*; I'd begun to feel downright cursed with pain - and I was now equipped with a whole battery of exercises and stretches to help me keep it away. So far they've worked great.“

“What a team! I was treated by Dr. Alexa, Nicole, Mark, Jenni, and Cat (in the SF location) during the two months leading up to my first marathon (during which time I was riddled with foot and knee injuries). I appreciated the attention they took and how they kept adapting my treatment so that I could accomplish my goals. Front desk was smart and efficient. Nothing but positive things to say! THANK YOU TEAM! - Brooke“

“Jessica is the real deal. I’m skeptical of a lot of PTs, but she really knows her stuff. We worked together for about two months, testing frequently to observe progress, and reprogramming as I improved. My shoulder is back to 90% strength—which is the best PT experience I’ve ever had—and I’m now equipped with the knowledge to push it that last 10%. I can’t recommend her enough! Also, the front desk folks are friendly, organized, and on top of communicating about insurance, payment, and appointment timing. They run a tight ship in there.“

“I have been to see Stefan at Innate Chiropractic several times. He listens carefully to every pain or discomfort I might bring up and addresses each one. He also makes great recommendations for supplements that support your body's needs. Randi, at the front desk keeps things running smoothly and gets you in and out! I really enjoy the work I get at Innate and highly recommend them.“

“Amy is a remarkable physiotherapist... I have had shoulder issues for years, decades really, with very little success with other physiotherapists. I've had two sessions with Amy since injuring my shoulder and she has made considerable progress on that joint.Amy is incredibly patient and really takes the time to explain how to do things right and not make things worse.I highly recommend her studio for anyone with skeleto-muscular injuries!“

“I've been coming to Maggie for months now and have had a noticeable improvement in my hip openness and back discomfort. She's an excellent listener and teacher - helps identify and focus on specific areas for treatment during the sessions and teaches stretches/exercises you can do at home. Clean studio and relaxing atmosphere.“

“I was referred by UCSF Endometriosis Center to Janette for pelvic floor physical therapy following a laparoscopy. I had been in constant, chronic, and debilitating pain for over 2 years, which impacted my overall quality of life. Janette's individualized approach and expertise allowed me to feel relief the day following my first appointment. I noticed going from irritable and agitated due to the pain, to calm and present in my body. This was the first time I had felt like this in over 2 years and I became hopeful for my future. Janette validated my experience through her understanding of the latest endometriosis research. Janette provided manageable exercises where I was able to see progress between each session, which kept me motivated. I feel safe, seen, and held throughout this healing process by Janette's kind, calm, and present demeanor.“

“Deena is a real healer. The combination of her impeccable knowledge of anatomy and how your body truly works with her experience and intentions to heal are truly wonderful and worth every moment and dollar spent.Often people work with a PT in emergency circumstances or recovering from an injury, but you may consider also working with her not in a time of crisis to improve your ergonomic relationship to whatever you do in your daily life and get tuned up! She’s wonderful and I can’t say enough good things, highly recommended.“

“I had the opportunity to rehabilitate with Mike and staff at Pro Motion for over 8 years. Through several surgeries and a lot of therapy I felt like family with Pro Motion. The staff and Mike made me feel right at home and comfortable while going through my rehab process. I did say "Uncle Uncle" at one point during an appointment for shoulder rehab but it was so worth it. Thank you again for all you do for patients, like making your office a warm and welcoming place to begin regaining our motion.“

“Dr. Rabbetz has been part of my trusted care circle for over a year. What I appreciate most about Dr. Rabbetz is how thorough he is in diagnosing a problem and the follow up care to check in on how I'm doing. For example, when I came to him with leg pain last year, he determined it was in fact a tear in my hip and sent me to the best hip specialist in San Francisco. I needed surgery and coached me every step of the way, and was very involved in my recovery. His positivity, encouragement and care has gotten me through countless ailments (including neck and wrist) and I'm so thankful. Thank you Dr. Rabbetz for your healing powers, your wisdom, and for being YOU!“

“Edie is the Sherlock Holmes of PTs. Don't expect a run of the mill assessment and standard exercises. Edie goes deep in her evaluation, bringing decades of experience, education, insight, and wisdom about how our bodies perform, and she then works with you on solutions that actually work for you and your lifestyle. She does all of this with grace, patience, compassion, and humor. Best of all, she LOVES what she does and it shows.I went to Edie with a laundry list of flat feet, persistent lower back pain, tendonitis in my wrists and elbows, and massive neck/shoulder lockup with chronic headaches. Edie took one look at my feet and said they're not (structurally) flat, they're just flexible and weak, but the good news is that we can probably fix them. In just 6 weeks my gait has improved and, with it, my posture. I no longer wake up aching and stiff. My headaches have cleared, thanks to Edie's bodywork (yep, her approach to healing is holistic and she doesn't just do PT). And, I never thought I'd say this, but I love the exercises she gives me. They make me feel so good during and after. Edie's studio is like the ultimate playground. She has all kinds of equipment, props, and tools that she puts to full use to find personalized solutions for you.Pro tip: Don't hold back, be honest about your habits and how you live, so that you can benefit from Edie's work. I love to hang out in bed for more hours than the average cat and I knew it was adding to my already existing back pain. I was afraid Edie would tell me my bed is now off limits, but instead, she set me up with the right support pillows and here I am, writing this review pain-free from guess where? :)“

“Rob is more than a chiropractor - he's a guru of all sorts! He has helped heal all of my odd body ailments, and he's incredibly intuitive. Rob is patient, gentle, and incredibly thorough in our appointments. I push my body pretty hard, and am always grateful for his sessions. He is far more holistic than any other person I've gone to. He uses heating pads, massages around the areas that are tight, that he will adjust. He's really more of a body worker. Considering how much time he takes, he is extremely affordable! He's doing this work for the right reasons. Thanks Dr. Rob!“

“My mom on the East coast turned me on to the benefits of integrated manual therapy (IMT), and suggested I find a practitioner after I fell down on my right knee on hard concrete, resulting in a terrible ache any time I had to drive more than a half-hour. Even though I waited nearly six months to get treatment, Jared managed to reverse the damage after about six sessions and my leg feels good as new! I'm amazed and so happy! I also had some issues with small dribbles of pee coming out sometimes minutes after I had used the bathroom (hello, all you mothers out there!) and Jared fixed that as well within the first, three sessions. He also provided me with acupuncture to help with insomnia and stress. I'm so impressed with his work! IMT is a hands-on treatment that works with the natural, magnetic fields in the body, and is incredibly gentle and non-invasive. I don't generally like the experience of acupuncture, and I've had acupuncturists in the past who put in tons of needles, which was unpleasant. Jared only used 4-6, tiny needles per session, but he knew exactly where to put them to be incredibly effective. It's so nice to go to a medical practitioner who knows what they are doing and actually gets results, rather than just shrugging their shoulders while taking your money, shuffling you off to someone else, or performing treatments which don't work and/or are harsh on the body. I only paid a $20 co-pay per session too, as long as I received acupuncture. Jared has you fill out a longish intake form (which you can do online) before the first appointment, and unlike most medical people I've been to, he actually read it and took it into account in my treatment. On top of that, Jared is a nice guy, fun to talk to, and I'll miss seeing him regularly now that I'm all better. Thank you, Jared! You are wonderful!“

“I have experienced the benefits of Oshana's literally healing arts for different reasons over at least a decade. She is an experienced physical therapist, who I originally visited following an injury, but she is also a practitioner of many approaches to body work. She really excels at devising a program suited to individual needs, is super perceptive about pain and movement, and is very practiced at prescribing methods to increase mobility and strength. So grateful for the all the help she has given me, and now look forward to attending some of her group sessions! Highly reccommend Oshana!“

“I highly recommend PHRC at Berkeley! When I first began working with Jillian, I was struggling with pain and mobility issues as a distance runner. She was able to empathize with me as a runner and helped build up my strength and flexibility. I'm currently running 30-50 miles a week and am preparing to run my first marathon -- and I could not have done it without her! Thanks Jillian!“

“THIS BODYWORK PROVIDER HAS A CAT. Booked on short notice due to another office being unavailable. Unfortunately the website does not notify you until after booking that this provider has a cat that sometimes visits the studio. As someone with a severe cat allergy this was a non-starter. I felt like this note needed to go somewhere as there are no refunds without a phone call + 24+ hrs before booking for first time clients. The post booking process also informs you that you cannot arrive more than 5 minutes early as no one may be available to buzz you in. A bummer as this provider seems to be otherwise highly rated.“

“I visited Dr. Cohen with a cluster of issues - all caused by trauma/stress which he took his time in understanding and evaluating which practice will best help me. NET (NeuroEmotional Technique) was the practice applied and it was life changing. The pain/issues I was dealing with for years were explained and nearly resolved within a few sessions of seeing him. In addition to my muscle pain I was also having vision issues which he helped me understand can be caused by trauma and recommended Coach Jonathan who comes to his office and partnered with him to tackle what I was facing. It had been years since I felt any type of relief and Dr. Cohen and his team have been amazing in providing care, researching and applying new techniques which might be helpful. Dr. Cohen has truly changed my life with his practice and I highly recommend him.“
