After reviewing reviews of plumbers in the San Gabriel Valley area, we contacted Top Notch Plumbing, INC (TNP), located in Covina, California. They scheduled an appointment with their Plumbing Technician, Ronnie Abracra, the following Saturday afternoon to provide an estimate. Mr. Abracra arrived early, having completed another job. He promptly listened to our concerns and prepared a detailed written estimate on the spot. After reviewing the estimate with us, we found the price to be neither the lowest nor highest. Our primary objective was to obtain quality work at a reasonable cost to meet our requirements. We made a decision and inquired about the start date. We were pleasantly surprised that Mr. Abracra could complete the job that Saturday afternoon before 5:00 p.m. It is important to note that the remedial repair involved the demolition of the drywall and exterior wood panel to access the existing plumbing in the wall. Mr. Abracra meticulously executed all demolition work, removing the exterior paneling to facilitate its reuse after the plumbing repair. He conducted all repairs professionally, addressing any questions I may have had throughout the process. Even though I had already had the line jetted by another company, Carlos went ahead and jetted it again before doing a thorough inspection. He showed me in detail where the breaks and cracks were, and how the city tree roots had found their way in.

What I really appreciated was how clearly he explained my options compared to the overpriced quote I received from another company. If you live in Fullerton, you know the constant battle between old city lines and invasive tree roots—so getting multiple quotes is a must. “First and foremost Nick is very professional and kind. Our water heater went out days before Thanksgiving. Nick installed a new water heater, but still could not get our hot water to turn on. We live in a condo and the electrician that our property manager had scheduled to come out and check the wiring was not able to make it. We were told it would be a few days until he would be able to come out. On Thanksgiving week! We really didn't want to go another day without getting hot water. Nick took it upon himself to bring in his trusted electrician. It took them most of the day but Nick refused to leave until he took care of the problem.
