“I hope this can help someone out there... Dr Kaw and his Staff are a great team to me. I have been a patient less than a year and him and his team has helped me in getting healthy, dealing with pain and my weight. I am... I was a 400+ Samoan that loves to eat, and I will come to your BBQ, eat AND take a plate home for later, but I wasn't healthy at all, just recently he put me on Zepbound and that first week I dropped a lot of weight (a lot of weight) and it put him on high alert because rapid weight loss can cause hypoglycemia and that explained a lot that happened to me that first week and now I am being monitored very closely so I don't harm myself, This team is very good to me Lastly, I came in one day and told him that I had a breakdown and it really messed me up in January 2024, not only did these people not brush me off, they helped me get to where I needed to be....me again, that is a good Dr. and team to me, maybe not to some, but I can only tell you what has been done for me. “Yes it was a long wait, but it happens. Everyone was so kind, and listened to what I needed. Not a normal ear infection kind of visit.
The doctor was exhausted I am sure .. it was the end of the night. She listened to what I was requesting, took her time and followed through with my request. She never rushed ... I felt listened to ... only bad thing! It was freezing in that room!

“I was looking for a place to go because I had injured my arm. I was kind of nervous to go into this place because I've never been there before. When I walked in it was a nice waiting room and the person at the desk greeted me. Check in was fairly simple and I didn't wait too long to be seen maybe to 10 minutes. The practitioner actually took time to listen to me and explain possible options to my treatment which I appreciated. We then decided agreed which treatment will be the best and we moved forward in getting that done. I will definitely return to this place if I need urgent Care.“

“Dr Tu is a ENT specialist, I had been to countless medical offices for about 4-5 years and no one could pin point my cough. I finally saw Dr. Tu through a referral from a relative and he immediately ordered an allergy panel and found the source to my cough. I have been seeing him for about 4 years now and have my allergies under control and manageable. I see him 3-4x a year for maintenance treatment when the seasons change. I would recommend him for allergies, sinus issues and common cold / viruses. His office operates differently than some and I work in Los Angeles so his hours work great for me because I can stop in between 6-7 or one Saturdays. There are also mechanisms in place to hold your place in line if it is busy and you can pop in and out if you need to.“

I was desperately looking for urgent care while uninsured (I’m self-employed), and every other urgent care I checked in Pomona and the surrounding areas wanted over $200 just to be seen, as an appointment fee. San Miguel Urgent Care was a completely different experience. San Miguel charged me $50 for my appointment. From the moment I walked in, Wendy and Stephanie were amazing, and the doctor via telemedicine was incredibly thorough and caring. I had been battling a cold for over a week and a half and was also dealing with a full-body cystic acne flare-up triggered by the infection. They took everything seriously and provided all the shots and medications I needed. I was honestly back to feeling like myself the very next day.

What truly meant the world to me was that they helped apply a coupon for an expensive medication at my local pharmacy. Without insurance, that kind of help is a blessing. I genuinely would not have been able to afford it otherwise.
My total visit was only $300, which is an incredible deal compared to nearby urgent care facilities. Anywhere else, I would’ve easily spent over $600 plus $200 in medications - and probably ended up in medical collections.

I’m beyond grateful that San Miguel Urgent Care exists and truly supports the community. Do not go anywhere else. Other places will nickel-and-dime you. This team actually cares. Thank you so much! ?? WENDY DESERVES A RAISE!!!“
