“I have to say it was the most traumatizing experience of my life losing my eye. DR.Danz was very professional and made me feel right at home. “She was so kind as to move up my appointment when I was in an accident on my bicycle where I learned a new phrase "getting doored" and ended up with broken glasses. Although her schedule was packed, she was able to see me the next day and I think she ended up working over time to finish up since towards the end I'm pretty sure I heard her tummy growling so maybe it was past her dinner time? Julie is so kind and caring it was great to come back to her practice after over 10 years when I had moved out of the area.“

“TLDR: Came for my first visit a few days ago and had a wonderful experience! I really value when my health-related offices pay attention to the details of patient care, and Dr. Leon and her team here did that for me this week. Also, I love that this seems to be a mostly (all?) female team! More in-depth thoughts here: 1) Was super easy to schedule an appointment online and I didn't have to call in or anything. After I scheduled an appointment, I got helpful text messages reminding me about my appointment and requesting the appropriate documentation. 2) The two women at the front desk were very nice as I checked in and were helpful with providing all the answers to the questions I had. 3) After standard, preliminary testing of my peripheral vision etc, I met with Dr. Leon for my eye exam. She has a very warm and calming persona that made me feel comfortable to be there, and she answered all of my questions with thoughtful answers. I felt like I was in very good hands, which is always something I care about deeply when trying out a new doctor for the first time. 4) I appreciated that Dr. Leon made it a point to make sure all the equipment was freshly wiped down before I put my face and eyes to it. This is the perfect example of attention to detail. 5) Finally, Dr. Leon was extremely thoughtful about recommending a new type of contact lens for me. Instead of just recommending the latest model, she thought through what I said about my eyes now, what I would need to remedy that, and what would be the best next step for the future (the NEXT time I buy contacts), and recommended something slightly different while explaining her reasoning. I really appreciated that. Details!“

“I was so happy with my appointment and Dr.Thich. She was gracious about me missing my first appointment. She explained things to me about some of the vision problems I have had for years from a point of view that I could say "oh that is why such and such" while assuring me that the things were normal problems people have as they get older. (without making me feel older). No one had ever done that and would just remark about "well try to fix that" and of course they never could. My husband went there and he recommended her to me. Also when I was looking for frames and I said I wasn't into expensive frames and she steered me to the more reasonable ones--I got to gravitate all on my own to the high end (where I ended up) but not because she was "selling" them to you. I highly recommend her.“

“I just bought my 4th pair of frames from Rims & Goggles and had a great experience. I worked with Sean who helped me with my previous pair and both times I told him what I was looking for and both times he picked out perfect frames. Exactly right for my face and exactly what I wanted. Yes, the frames weren't cheap, but when I compare the ones I purchased at Rims and Goggles to the ones I got from an online vendor, there is no comparison, especially the way they fit on the face. I have two pair of glasses from R&G that are at least 8 years old and in perfect condition. If I need a tweak they are happy to do it for free. I will only buy my frames from R&G.“

“Late post. Last September my husband & I visited NYC. I noticed some of my pictures taken that I was wearing my prescription Dior clear glasses, it was slanted. I said I will bring it to Sea Cliff Optometry office to fix it. While waiting for our boarding at the JFK airport going home, I noticed the crack on the right temple of my frame glass. I did not know how it happened. I immediately called Darryl in the office of Sea Cliff Optometry. She asked me to take the picture for which I did & texted it to her. The next day, I saw Darryl wearing my old glasses with prescription. Since I still have the warranty, she sent off my glasses to the lab for replacement. After two weeks, I got my brand new Dior prescription glasses. I really like the service provided by this office especially Darryl who rendered her service without hesitation. Another instance where I lost my prescription Chanel sunglasses in Las Vegas this December. I went to Darryl and ordered a different new Chanel sunglasses. I used up my vision insurance benefit this year. But Darryl made it worked. Now I have my new prescription Chanel sunglasses to wear. I really recommend this office. It is clean, nice staff and they carry different design frame glasses to choose from Chanel, Dior, etc.“

“Transferred from another office because my requests were not being met. So happy I did because the staff at Marin Optometry went above and beyond to make things right! Ordered new contacts and they were quick to pull from my secondary ins, then they informed me that I had a $200 credit that could used towards my new order. The old office never found or mentioned this credit. They requested my records be sent, they wanted me to get strength of contact that I was unable to get from my last Dr. they really want me to be happy with my order!I am completely out of my prescription, so they set me up with a weeks worth of sample contacts -how cool is that!!Super friendly and helpful staff in a relaxed no pressure environment! I highly recommend Marin Optometry.“

And when I was not thrilled at first, Dr. K tested my eyes and discovered that my original prescription (done by another physician in another office) was not correct. The lenses were re-ordered and the problem was fixed, at no expense to me. It was clear when he was testing me that he wanted things to be perfect, he was methodical, meticulous, and friendly.
