I have to say I am not one for surgery. In fact I was trying to avoid surgery my whole life ; my wisdom teeth and another molar had other ideas lol- anyways came in here for them to be removed and I was pretty nervous about going under general anesthesia because I have never been under before. Anna was so sweet and kind. The Anesthesiologist Julio is incredible! I mean it when I say I did not feel the needle at all. He is that good. Absolutely blown away. Totally took my fear away! The entire staff was so cool and explained everything. The surgeon was very helpful and incredibly professional. I didn't catch her name Because I was already starting to feel the drugs , ha ha. By the way this was all this morning. A few hours later and I am sore but I feel great otherwise. I would definitely come back to these guys for any oral surgery needs I may have in the future! A+ everybody absoluutely wonderful job ?

Actually.... I went with a friend but, I can tell you what a wonderful job they did. She has really thin hair and had it trimmed and got extensions but, not to make it longer but, to make it fuller. It's a little pricey but everyone is worth it at some point
The salon was very comfortable, and Caprisha was an excellent stylist. She cut my hair from long—just past my shoulders—to a short afro, and gave me a style I feel confident and happy with. For reference, my curl pattern is about 3b-3c. I highly recommend her services.

I had pretty much given up on the locs and was prepared to do a big chop. I was so impressed with my “flawless”transformation that I will be going back to her for all of my maintenance. I've always had a wonderful experience here. The customer service is superb. All the staff is very attentive. I have done my eyelashes, nails, and have had the scalp massage done here. My eyelashes lasted about a month before I needed a refill. My nails are always so cute! I ask for Emma when I come in for my nails. The scalp massage is very relaxing with aroma therapy incorporated into the lemongrass treatment which about 50 minutes long. It is well worth it. I had a very dry scalp at the time and I came out of it with shiny hair that was noticeable all throughout the week and no signs of dry scalp.
I was hesitant trying a new nail salon after a previous bad experience. I was also nervous because I chew my nails and worried about judgment. Coco was nice and made me feel normal. She has a wonderful attention to detail and checks in at each step to make sure I liked my nails! She was very gentle! Getting acrylics can hurt, but she did her best to make me comfortable. She even worked with me to cover up my natural nail beds when I wanted French tips! I will definitely come back and recommend her to friends.

Ok im a plus sized lady, i love that these ladies don’t give me the typical judgemental glares of disgust ive recieved in other more nasty, busy, unsanitary, places. There are two ladies always since i have been coming here. 2018, Lynna, has always greeted me with a warm welcoming tone. Her buddy Diem knows her stuff careful to do the pedicures, knows her craft, has delicately taken care of the beggining ingrown nails that i have try to grow. She always opens a new package of instruments to clip, and use on each customer service! That is a MUST for me! In other busy places! They don’t! And get offended when you speak up! & request a sanitized set of tools! Im NOT with that! Drives me furious! Why would the customer have to ask? They also use new scrubs to do ones feet! Very very good as who wants other ppls dead foot skin on theirs? Im so happy to find them still open inspite of what i think was a break in! Love love love Lynnas nails! He just wants his client's happy! Very gentle and very nice skilled human being. I have never encountered this respectful and humble yet talented hair stylist, no attitude at all.

Went to get my right nostril pierced today, I had my left side done by Chris which he did an amazing job, quick and painless, healed perfectly too! My daughter and i got our noses pierced. My daughter messaged Crystal and she got us in the next day. Crystal was very sweet! Crystal took us in the back room, cute little pink room. My daughter and I were able to be there together. Crystal was quick and precise. Nose piercings are $60 with a regular stud but I chose to upgrade to a 14K gold stud. It was a bit pricey but im hoping that is to be expected everywhere. I would definitely return....maybe next time for a mom and daughter matching tattoo!

And she was not only happy about the work that Philip did, but impressed as to how hard and fast he was working to do all the work he did on our new house. There was urine on the carpet that was really strong and we had a different business come out twice because it was so bad and they still could not get the smell out. Nice people but this business has been around a long time so they don’t put as much time and effort in. I reached out to Harris cleaning and talked to Dillen and he fit me in the schedule really fast. He really took his time cleaning the carpet and getting the smell out! I just found my forever carpet cleaners!! I decided to try this company and I am so glad I did. They arrived right on time, which was nice since I had unexpected plans come up for the afternoon. I like how they used wall bumper things to keep the edges of my wall safe from the equipment they were using. They treated my big stains with a pleasant citrus scented cleaner before starting. The price was fair compared to other carpet cleaners out there, but the friendly staff, extra time and care put them over the top. Other companies send out young teenagers who rush through the job without attention to detail, but not Kern Floor Care. Here are my own personal before and after images. I am already wanting to schedule my next appointment to have my tile/grout cleaned! 10/10 would highly recommend.

Done Right Construction recently completed a remodel of our primary bedroom and bathroom. We highly recommend them. They completed the project in the time frame established. They were reliable by showing up each day on time, communicated well, and left the site each day cleaned up and orderly. Mike and Devin cared about the craftsmanship and completion of the project. I highly recommend EHS & Sons. We had a dishwasher leak that they were able to identify and fix immediately. Since we had water underneath our floor boards, we also needed to have them pulled up, dried and replaced. They did an amazing job of preserving as many boards as they could. The flooring manufacturers discontinued the exact type of flooring we had, so EHS & Sons recommended that we use flooring from our master bathroom to make sure the kitchen and rest of the dining area matched, which saved us a lot of money. They were prompt, professional and polite the entire time. Great job!!

Best pest control in Bakersfield! Months ago I noticed roaches in my bathrooms and quickly called Killian Pest control. They were able to identify the type of roach and send a technician out ASAP to resolve the problem. It’s been months now from the initial spray and we haven’t seen a roach since. Our tech, Danny was so kind and polite! He came out again this week to spray and I was so caught off guard when he asked how our family was doing! I could tell he wasn’t making small talk but genuinely cared! In a world where customer service is an anomaly I’m thankful for this home town family business that prioritizes not only excellence in their trade but kindness in their relationship with their customers.

They removed three queen palms in my backyard and ground out the roots to allow me to plant new smaller trees. I was very happy with their service, their price and with the grinding of the roots. I previously had a palm removed at a rental and that tree service only ground the roots down 6” below the surface making it impossible to replant in that location without doing a lot of chopping. I am very happy with Alspaw Tree service and will use them again and recommend them to others.

Tyler at Kern Tree Service gave us a fair and accurate estimate. Was on time, and removed two African Sumacs whose time in our yard was through. He ground the stumps, and left the yard cleaner than when he arrived. Highly recommended, and a really cool guy, too.

I can't say enough good things about this company!! I mostly dealt with Monica who was incredible. She was there with me every step of the way when my 35 year old tree blew down during a storm. It was a week before thanksgiving and they were able to come out the next day to get it taken care of. I spoke to them at 5 pm the night before. Monica showed up with the crew and explained how everything was going to go. They were fast, professional with my yard and property. Monica then helped assist me with my insurance claim to make sure it was exactly what they needed so I could get my claim closed. It's stressful when life throws you a curveball but they truly made it all so much easier than I was anticipating. Quick responses, and everyone I dealt with or spoke to was very kind to me. Carlos's crew did an excellent job crown trimming our great big pine trees and shaping and removing the mistletoe from several large oaks. They were punctual and amazingly efficient, and cleaned up an astounding amount of debris. We will certainly continue to use their services in the future.

So I was extremely nervous going in because I have had a ton of issues in the past with another dentist office. Staff was amazing easy to talk to very understanding I had a procedure done and it was painless, doctor did amazing in asking if I was okay throughout. The hygienist was amazing he talked to me throughout my visit, during x rays and honestly it didn't feel like I was sitting in a dentist office. Staff there is very welcoming and respectful. I could not have asked for a better visit. I will not be going anywhere else. I highly recommend them. Also if you like me where you sit and read reviews prior to appts just remember not everyone has the same experience just go and see for yourself how truly amazing this place is.

We've been taking our family here for years because Dr. Lin and his team are awesome. Very thorough and attentive. His office is clean and inviting and always plays good movies. Our appointments run very smoothly and even with 4 boys' cleanings we always get in and out quickly. Dr. Lin does a good job explaining to them (and to me) our teeth. He's even got me flossing every day (almost)!
This is my first time going to Dr. Krauss’s office. The waiting room was very clean and inviting the staff was amazing. Amber and Daisy are perfect at the front reception area. Sometimes patients are nervous when they go to the dentist they make you feel ant ease and welcomed. Dr. Krauss was very professional kind and explained everything in detail. First Choice Dentistry is very skilled and professional. As part of my treatment plan I was referred to UCLA. When I went to the dentist at UCLA, the team there “ooohed and ahhhed” at the work that had been done on my mouth by First Choice. They were so impressed. It works no pain i'm 86 years old and have put up with lowerback pain for years . After the spinal decompression therapy i can do physical work with out any back pain. I was an avid runner, recovering from old chronic use injuries. I transitioned to HIIT style workouts that combined strength/resistance, cardio/plyometrics, etc. I ended up with terrible pain deep in my hip/groin which limited mobility. I thought I just pulled something. After about 2 weeks of worsening symptoms, I decided to just go to a chiropractor. I googled around, looked at reviews, and decided to go with Active Life. I’m so glad I did. Dr. Walker helped me greatly. To begin with, on my very 1st visit, he did some mobility tests, and told me I may have a labral tear in my hip. Dr. Walker continued on with modified adjustment, being extra cautious with my injured hip/groin area. He recommended I see my primary doctor, and get an MRI. (which I did ASAP, and Dr. Walker was 100% correct; I had a torn hip labrum) As a result, I’ve been able to modify my workout routine to protect, and strengthen that area. Plus, my regular adjustments with Dr. Walker have helped me so much in my recovery. Each time I go, I feel so much improvement in the way I stand, walk, run, and jump. I have much better mobility, strength, and overall stability. All my pain has decreased, and I feel so much more positive about my ability to return to a fully active lifestyle. As a final shoutout, the front desk staff, and all the PT-assistants that provide e-stim treatments are all so positive, understanding, and professional. My family and I have been seeing Dr. McCan for 20 years this year! We absolutely trust him with our necks, our backs, and our babies. He’s the absolute best. Last week I couldn’t move my neck either way, side to side or up and down. He saw the hurt in my eyes as I walk in. He fixed me so fast I could have cried tears of joy. Bakersfield regional veterinary surgical specialty got us in on the next business day. The love, care and attention our baby received was amazing. The staff were very helpful and understanding throughout the process. Dr. B was absolutely amazing! We couldn't have asked for anything more. We paid a pretty penny but it was expected and worth it we just wanted our baby to be taken care of. I would recommend and take him back should he ever need it.

If you own a horse, you know they can be expensive. It's not only food and boarding and equipment, they occasionally need medical care. If you are a pro-active horse owner, you can sometimes head off major medical expenses with preventive care. We use Bakersfield Large Animal Hospital for all our needs. There are three vets in residence and they are all very good. Dr. John Tolley is the head vet and heads the staff. Dr. Gonzales has the second longest tenure. He is very conscientious and great with the horses. Dr. Ordonez-Jones is the newest addition. He speaks Spanish. He graduated from Davis and came to Bakersfield. Every other year we take our horses in for dental work. Dr. Tolley did the horse's teeth this year. They use mechanical tools to get the teeth just right. (Horse's teeth grow throughout their life and have to be "shaped" on a regular basis). We like using Bakersfield Large Animal Hospital because all the doctors there are willing to talk to us, answer all our questions, and give alternative treatment programs. They also talk to each other. They will discuss cases and try to come up with the best diagnosis and treatments. When you're dealing with veterinary care, I consider this VERY important. The rest of the staff - Rudy, Katherine, and the others - are very good at handling the horses and keep things running smoothly. Bakersfield Large Animal is on Taft Hwy. They have a full service equine vet hospital.
They estimated 2-4 hours, but I saw the doctor in less than 2. The doctor was kind. They took care of me and my dog. It was totally chaotic in the lobby when I first arrived, and everyone in front of the office was very professional. They did not oversell me on services and were clear on the estimate before proceeding with diagnostic procedures. It was expensive compared to a regular vet, but exactly what I expected from an emergency vet, reasonable for what it is.
I love the care my dogs get from Southwest Veterinary Hospital. I have had both dogs spayed. They truly care about the outcome. Communication is excellent. I received a phone call checking on my dogs recovery. Pearl and Bambi say thank you. ?

A friend referred me to Dr. Thurman and team and I cannot thank her enough. I recently took the first of two cats for an annual exam and introduction. I immediately felt "at home" from the moment I walked in. I also appreciated not having to wait an extensive time; I feel like they schedule appropriately to see the animals (and their humans) in a timely manner.
Upon my first call, the office was not accepting new clients. While disappointed, I admired that they did not over schedule themselves. I have since been able to secure a spot thankfully.

My husband and I get massages every week from these massage therapists. They are great at what they do and very knowledgeable of the problem areas that we need work on. The heating pad on the massage table is a nice touch, and the atmosphere of the room is very relaxing.
I am four months pregnant and I’ve dealing with sciatica. I just wanna say I’m so grateful to great hands. I called Debbie her and I know it was last minute. I just couldn’t stand the pain. I am so glad I found Jeanne's services. She is a top notch masseuse with a holistic approach. She is very knowledgeable and even in a short 30 minute session, worked out a deep strain in my shoulders and helped me relax as I get closer to delivery.
