Whole Home Rewired, by professional first class people. Nelson Calis, his brother Anthony and an apprentice/everything guy Fred, just finished a whole home rewire for us in California City. We could not be happier with the result and know that over time our appreciation for the finer details will only grow. Our 1950's built home had aluminum wiring with a 100 amp breaker panel, back then a family was lucky to have one TV. Now, with high tech devices and television in most rooms, being "wired" meant we needed to rewire. No electrical or general contractor local to Cal City wanted the job. 2 gave estimates, one was ball parked over the phone, the other was very high for a lot less work done and we believe not a serious attempt to get our business. The job Nelson and Schematic did: rewire all 12 rooms and the garage wire 7 rooms and the garage for cable TV cut holes for and hang 7 ceiling fixtures plus a ceiling fan put recessed lighting in 2 rooms add wall switches and outlets indoors and out with 2 receptacles under the roofline for Xmas lights. Think the total of extra outlets and switches is 12. add security lighting on all four sides of the house change the boxes the fixtures, outlets and switches go into to new and higher quality than need be change every outlet and switch in the house for copper wire and use better than standard, decor switches throughout. Install a 200 amp breaker panel with no less than 18 breakers. Use 20 amp wiring and breakers where code is 15 amp Tack all the wire in the attic crawl space, strap and brace at the panel Patch properly all the holes created to rewire as well as where outlets were moved. Re stucco around the panel. Schematic was the lowest bid, it was lower than friends and family in Los Angeles thought we would pay too. Some of this stuff was added by us as the job went along, Schematic could have over charged for the extras, they didn't. We found their numbers very fair. Many electricians wouldn't touch this job, rewiring while the customer lives in the house means having to leave some power on at all times and restoring the rest each night. Cleaning up behind themselves constantly too, slows down the work. When you are paid by the job and not the hour, this costs them money. They never rushed, they never rushed us. They were courteous, professional and decent throughout the process. We feel safe in our home for the first time in a long time. Peace of mind knowing your loved ones (pets included) are safe is priceless. Nelson and his guys aka Schematic Electrical are very nice people. Hard working, honest, decent people. Once we got into the job a bit, I felt comfortable and safe with them here. Didn't feel like I had to be on top of them all the time while they worked. The end result, because of Nelson Calis and the men of Schematic we added security, safety, and lots of extra lighting. By spending extra for LED fixtures (a separate expense and our choice) we will have better lighting output for a fraction of the energy foot print and lower utility bills. You can come see their work anytime you want, we are the house with the best lighting in town. Thanks to Schematic. 5 stars, wish we could give them more. .

its going to be well over 100 degrees today and my air conditioner quite. I called Nelson Calis. He came right out and did a great job. He was done before it hit 100 degrees. He was fabulous. I now have him in my contacts and would not call anyone else.
